Remember you can pre-order your copy through the TL store and help support Team Liquid! It's also an easy way to get a beta key! |

Can you elaborate? "It says UK only" doesn't say enough about the problem you're having. As far as I know, it is possible to order the game to Belgium (and Germany, I checked) and have it shipped over. The beta on the other hand is on NA only and you'll have to download the client on Battle.net once you activated the key you'll receive to access the beta.
There is no such thing as "UK only" in game since the servers are the following: KR, EU, NA, SEA
In case the game copy you get shipped is in English, just know that you can download the game client in any language you wish though Battle.net also. The only thing is that the DVD and Blu-Ray Disc could possibly only contain English subtitles.
I hope this helps.

If you pre-ordered through the store how do you receive the beta code just wondering?
|
@Tabashi: ofc I didn´t mean you can only play the game from. I my opinion it is pretty expensive to ship HotS from NA or UK to Germany. I would rather like to have this offer at Amazon.de or something else in Germany.

Going to battle.net I just found out that Blizzard is trying to pull a Steam on the EU players with their pricing. According to Google 40 US dollars = 31.39 euros...

I guess I'm "special" as a EU player or something...

I think that is to early of a release date, unless they do some heavy fixing. Because at the moment it is still WAY to imbalanced. I couldn't even handle playing it for 3 games.

US prices are without VAT (BTW, in Dutch). We pay 21% VAT / BTW on our luxury goods. Add this 21% to the 31.39 euros you quoted and you end up with 38 euro. Rather close to the actual price they're asking, don't you think?
Prices in western Europe are higher than those in the US. For everything. This isn't a Steam-specific or Blizzard-specific thing.

Steam don't set the prices of other publishers' games on the steam store. It's up to individual publishers how they price their own games. To put it plainly, if you're being shafted by regional pricing it's the game's publisher that's to blame, not Valve (unless the game in question is a valve game).

When's Amazon Canada going to post it? I don't want to order from US to pay import fee + shipping, and then have a 5 day delay.

I know it sucks for you Europeans/Australians/etc., but hasn't the pricing thing always been this way for any game that releases?

What's even worse is thinking you can judge balance from 3 games.
