Using Ret as one of the examples. He tweeted he was going back to the hotel so he could get rest for championship sunday (pretty much saying he figured he was done playing for the day) couple hours later MLG had him scheduled to play and Smix sent a tweet to Ret's GF to get him back to the venue because Ret was still scheduled for a match. Makes it in time to just be DQ'd from 1 game and then loses the rest of the series. Same happened to CranK, Hwangsin, and from now reading the thread KawaiiRice aswell. that is just ridiculous, it sounds so amateurish as one can dream. One should bring that up on stage to disclaimer such terrible organisation.

To tell the truth the whole MLG bracket now requires a degree in math and planning to understand and keep in mind. Players should NEVER be bothered with that kind of junk and thus the whole can be blamed pretty much on the organization. People can just take a look at the Liquipedia page to see what I mean ... which "end" of a partial bracket goes where? and even the MLG bracket wasnt updated fast enough most of the time. Lets hope they manage to find some sponsors soonish to help carry the financial burden. Ryung looked somewhat "empty" in his team shirt today in the GSL.

I really hope this is a sarcastic post, because if not you might be one of the dumbest people I've ever seen.

Have you tried to follow the bracket while the tournament was running? Several "lines" of games listed and lots of players coming down to a losers match ... but from where? Just look at it and especially look at the open bracket. I mean the Liquipedia needs THREE PAGES to list all the games and the complex interwoven format makes it hard to find anything easily. http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/2012_MLG_Pro_Circuit/Fall/Championship http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/2012_MLG_Pro_Circuit/Fall/Championship/Open_Bracket http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/2012_MLG_Pro_Circuit/Fall/Championship/Open_Bracket_Losers The brackets are filled now, but imagine half of them being empty and you wouldnt know which opponent would be going where in the bracket if he lost without an explanation booklet of 20 pages. My comment was sarcastic, but the truth is that MLG has made its own competition so hopelessly complicated that I feel there are only a handful of people who know "what goes where" at all times. So any issues with their timings and matches is their fault.

If you mean the ends of the Open Bracket, there's re-seeding to determine the survivors' places in Groups (from OWB) and the Championship Losers Bracket (from OLB), so there isn't really enough information to figure that out using the LP brackets alone (since seed numbers aren't included in them). You need the official MLG brackets (which have the seed numbers) to get the complete picture. Edit: Also, since it's a re-seeding process, nobody knows where all the players will go in which slots until most (or all) the players have been determined (one match can change several players' positions). However, it was nice to see that LP had the correct positions for the OWB Groups players right after the last OWB game, while MLG was on break "figuring out" the bracket in Dallas.
