Is the MMR system for team games different than individual games? Example: in 2v2 random, if I get paired up with someone that doesn't do anything, but I do quite well, but still lose, will the system recognize that I might be of higher caliber than what the game's outcome reflects?

Can anyone point me in the direction of a pro or a stream (or just VODs) of an unorthodox Terran player. Specifying: Unorthodox- creative tactics or strategies that are not seen in typical play.

Small dispute I need help settling~

Off of a 1 base DT rush, what is the earliest time you can get dt's to your opponent's base? WoL and HOTS.

Around 6 minutes for the most hardcore (like no units made before the dt's) but conventionally, a touch after 7 mins IIRC

Allright, picture this if you will: you're playing PvP and did a stargate opener. After scouting your opponents main and simultaneously doing some damage with an oracle you see that your opponent opened with a DT build. You take up a defensive posture and at the time the first DT arrives in your base you have one oracle and a phoenix. As the DT starts attacking your units, you use the Envision ability to detect the DT. Your opponent then retreats with the DT and comes back again later for another poke. Envision is just about to wear off as you lift up the DT with your phoenix's Graviton Beam. What happens to the DT when the Envision ability and detection wears off? Does the DT remain in the Graviton Beam, but cannot be attacked or does the DT simply fall back on the ground?

(Not sure this is the right forum for this kind of question, but was wondering and thought I'd give it a shot)

Whats going on with unranked play? I want to learn another race and after losing an overwhelming number of games and even throwing many, im still fighting diamond and masters. It'll go from bronze to masters, to gold to masters. Its doing my nut in.

Can I ask here a simple question about campaign?

In the mission Death From Above (the platform one with Dahaka disabling psi emitters) there are no bonus objectives for me, only the main objective which is to destroy the psi emitter, yet I can't get Bonus Objectives: Final because it says that I didn't do bonus objective in the mentioned mission.

Is it a bug?

Is there a wastelands or "casual" space on TL for quick questions and answers?
Say, a place that gets deleted every day and allows for short, temporary discussions?
