Well that's not fair now, is it. Let us vote on the best foreigners, not a quota for specific regions.

That said idk how many spots they're going to vote on for this open qualifier, still looking forward to it. Bit concerned that it might be a lopsided team (eg: no terrans) just due to the qualifiers rather than invites. Also only 5? Would like to see a few more so they can properly chose snipers and such. No terrans? What about qxc, illusion, demuslim, thorzain, kas, happy, etc.....

I was worried it was the Blizzard sponsored World Championship Series. The WCG broadcast from last year was very very subpar, but the WCS has been great so far.

Atleast I hope they make it a 4-5 day event, where the Ro4 of GSL is on the first day, and finals are on the last. Hello! I just wanted to mention that we are in no way forcing players to play in both tournaments. If someone just wants to concentrate on GSL, by all means they are welcome to! There's nothing forcing them to play, and they are welcome to withdraw from IPL5 before hand if they've already qualified or something along those lines. To everyone else, I'm checking on the ETA of hotel packages. If you have any questions at all, fee free to ask!

That event is usually streamed in around 100p, with lag and korean casts.

You you talk about dream then is WCG (without a doubt).

Why is that so funny, shouldn't skill be considered above all else when you are trying to hold a tournament with "the best five foreigners" vs "the best five koreans"? I get that it's better for the crowds if you get diversity, but one could argue that it didn't turn out too swell for TSL4. Just my opinion.

Ah, alright. My point still stands, though, I don't think it should be limited to 2 from NA and 3 from EU. Why not the other way around, or 0/5, or 5/0. It's like deciding the best five koreans with "max one player per pro team".

Decisions have already been made (that you are not objecting to) that go against your argument. So while you've made a logical point, you've made it in a context in which it's impotent.
