Cool stuff. I'm really hoping Gom gets straight into Up and Down matches right after WCS. They will likely have to start them on the week of the 26th. I find it difficult for gom to be able to do 2 GSL seasons, 1 blizzard cup, 1 gstl season, and possibly a GSL World championship by the end of the year. Although, the ro8--finals at ipl5 should help a lot.
I wonder if GOM would be giving out free seeds for KeSPA players. They're kinda always keen to give out seeds, so I wouldn't be surprised if some of the KeSPA players get seeds. Just a problem of figuring out who to give it to.

Speaking of seeds, I wonder if Alicia is going to get one. He's been the most consistent and impressive when it comes to foreign tournaments during this summer.

Whichever KESPA players do the best in WCS, I imagine.

The most popular ones and maybe 1 legitimately good one ^^

Hang about, this is only 4 days in to the next ladder season. Are the points from before the ladder season ends or from the new season, because if it's the latter it could really be tough for a lot of guys to get that many points so quickly.

though its starcraft 2 to win. i am very excited about this
The thing about that is there are ~48 players already in GSL S4 who won't be in the preliminaries, compared with only the top 10 in GSL points bypassing the WCS KR qualifiers.
Any news about streaming and the likes? Would LOVE to see the finals of each groups as they did one time. Would be nice to have a heads up on the new players on the block instead of last season where I saw JKS made it through the prelims then didn't watch his games because they had like 90% rating in the wrong direction xD

I doubt it because 1) He's a Korean 2) He's not popular enough
As much as I don't like those reasons, they are valid reasons from GOM's business perspective.

team league doesnt conflict with the others and they only have 1 and a half gsl's left with the ipl thing. They have done 3 leagues in 8 months i dont think 2 and a half will be to hard in 4 months

"JD is the kespa seed for highest decibel rating in fangirl screams" or something.
well, if we can't get stephano for season 4, i'll love seeing jaedong there instead ;D
Welp here come the elephants, are the gom players ready for this? It should be good, not matter how it ends up. I would like a seed for a kespa player into code s, but given how they are playing, i don't think the kespa players need it.

I can see the highest ranking Kespa player in the WCS almost certainly getting seeded.
My guess is the majority will be Kespa players qualifying this time. All of the best GSL players are already seeded and there are plenty of talented kespa players who can make it through.

that's not a good thing. Many in top 10 gsl points are in a slump atm

I think most will try to qualify as well. If you read the players interviews from WCS, the Kespa players talk a lot about getting experience playing vs GSL players, so this would be another opportunity to do so.

Code B.
You didn't watch the last games in the WCS heh?
Well another elephant is going to get slain today.. GL Soulkey your honestly really going to need all the luck you can get against the PvZ beast that is Liquid_HerO!!!!!
Plus getting through Code A qualifiers or even staying in Code A isnt as easy as you would think.. Kespa players would have their work cut out to even make it into Code A considering all the GSL players(not all top popular names) that end up being beasts in qualifiers..
Prelims have been announced for 5 & 6th September!
Masters 1200+ points can participate - and KeSPA players are participating!
Registration opens August 24th to 27th
So that answers that. No, they will not be using the season 4 ladder points which would be absurd anyway. The registration ends right before the season ends.

No way, he has a particular bad case of Danium Stemkoskiosis-condition (more commonly known as the Artosis curse) preventing him from getting any noteworthy success.

Seed: Code S champion Yonghwa: Code B
Seems tasteless' support is the key to victory while artosis support kills your carrer.
Hoping and expecting to qualify (mostly from GSL teams): - TheBest - Seal - Monster - Losira - First - Yongwha - Choya - sC - Inca - Moon - Lucky - Coca - TOP
Notably I think Coca, Moon, First and Losira probably have really good chances. Kespa or not. Beyond that we'll see. Like a lot of people I don't think we're sure how much the Kespa wave will impact upon the qualifiers. There's been a lot of growth for them since the last big qualifier for a tournament (WCG) and there will probably be no invites.
Question: does it say anywhere (that I'm missing with my tired eyes?) how many qualifiers they will be after this time? They had 21 groups last season.
