Wasn't there a movement for KeSPA and GSL not to change players. Does that not apply to coaches?

Apparently not, 4 KeSPA teams now have coaches from GSL teams, and it seems to be a huge advantage. I don't follow proleague that religiously, but so far we have;

(T)Cezanne, ex oGs player/coach to Team 8
Ryu Won, ex SlayerS coach to Woonjin Stars
(T)Clide, ex SlayerS player to KT Rolster as a coach (this one was the most suspect one imo, but SlayerS seemed happy for him)

and now (T)BoxeR to SKT1

I don't remember exactly when Ryu Won joined Woonjin, but they were the best team in the first round of proleague. When Cezanne joined Team 8 for the second round they went from the 7th place team to the best, and I don't know if you've seen Jaedong play lately, but he's improving at an incredible rate.

I think it won't be long before the 3 teams that aren't Ace pick up a GSL player or coach to coach their team. ACE I don't know, they're not recruiting anymore but it would be amazing if they made an exception and got July or Nada to coach their team.

Also, the agreement was between Kespa and eSports Federation teams; Slayers is not part of the federation, hence no limitation beyond maybe an inofficial gentlemen's agreement.

I don't know, I wish to see boxer playing more than anything else. but it also hurt to see him lose to a normal noname player.

Oh shit. I forgot about Ryu Won and Clide. So many ex-Slayers bringing the gift of coaching to Kespa.

It's probably not physically healthy any more for him to train to the extent necessary for his games to even look good anyway. I'm pretty sure he'd keep playing otherwise, regardless of how underwhelming his results may be. He insisted on continuing to play BW as an active team member long past his prime too even though he was offered a coach role way before SC2 was out.

I think I read somewhere that SlayerS are also part of the agreement, I'll try to find a source.

edit:
This agreement prohibits KeSPA-affiliated teams to acquire players from eSports Federation (including SlayerS) until October 2013. Players affected by this agreement will be 25 players per each team's roster, and the Federation will periodically report 25 players in their roster to KeSPA. As per agreement, transfers will be possible regardless of the roster after October of next year.

seems like the coaches just let the kespa players know about all the current strats, so now their superior mechanics can win

The king is back on his rightful throne. Now, for the next few years, SKT Terrans will be dominating the scene while SKT zergs will do what they did in broodwar :'D.

I think slayers will be fine w/o boxer, they still have a few coaches and plenty of great players, they're gonna be fine.

Yup, pretty much this. And as a coach he will probably play his fair share of sc2 anyway so it's not like he won't get the chance to play anymore. And if he doesn't feel 100% right in the body than this will be enough for him I'm sure.

O.o I hope BoxeR doesn't stop playing. Good for him and SKT!
With an average game length of 7m36s over his 6 games in GSL3, this is a no-brainer. BitByBit pulls more SCVs than yo momma at a club on Mar Sara. ♞

Don't care if BoxeR may not be at the very top skill-wise or whatsoever or if elitist BW fans are pissed about SKT1 getting a wider fanbase due to him transferring over back, it's just that some people like me just weren't into BW back then (most likely because we had something else to do and lots of SC2 players are certainly too young) and started with SC2... I watched BoxeR in TSL3 and was completely mind blown by his reputation and achievements and so started to follow his actions etc. ... And again, it doesn't really matter to me which team he is on, but if he will retire or not (as he stated not long ago). So what's up with that fan bashing? Don't get it...

It's a joke. Well...kind of.

T1 have the most annoying fans of all teams, mainly because of people who like Bisu a little too much, or talk more about their team looks than the games themselves.

Hey, hey. I'll fight totally fight you for that. Because Bisu is, like totally hawt.

But yeah T1 fans usually have to suffer (mostly) good-hearted ribbing from the other teams because some of our players are a little hit and miss (except when it isn't good-hearted.) Also Bisu created as many anti-fans as fans. I see your CJ symbol...

A mod-fight would be totally fun to watch, I'm not gonna lie.
