Edit: wow, plexas opinion really surprised me....and doas response was heartening.(as opposed to disheartening, idk if heartening is a word) I would like sayle, or even the return of the code a casting trio with some deal with ogn. Because doa and wolf are good in my memory, even though i deeply enjoy woffdor now.

Furthermore, the whole KESPA+MLG partnership came about because Kespa wanted to market themselves more to foreigners I believe. I think Kespa is very seriously considering the foreign market.

Only thing they could have done is offer Apollo the bank and beg him to move to Korea. Rotterdam is with NASL, Tastosis and Wolfdor are with GOM, and then Day9 is not going to move to Korea for OGN. They didn't have a great list of options to choose from.

You give the KeSPA pros too little credit. ![]() You have to bear in mind that they are still playing two games. However much they practice, playing two games competitively is tough on you. Next OSL will probably only start when the BW pros are all fully switched to SC2. Also, HotS is on the horizon. And from there, everything's kinda reset.

Edit: I really wish some of the current professional players who have dabbled in casting and haven't been having success in the pro scene would make the switch and work for OGN. Selfish, I know. I know its hard for a competitor to stop competing but there are a lot of current players who, imo, have shown a tremendous amount of talent for casting.

I wonder if OGN will even want to hire DOA considering he didn't last with GSL. I don't know all the particulars of why he left GSL in the first place, but is it safe to assume he didn't make the cut there? If OGN wants GSL level casters, or better, I wouldn't think they would hire anyone who didn't stick at GSL. No he chose to come back to the US because he has a wife. I assume if he's planning a long term deal with OSL, he'll likely bring her with him and move out there at least for the time being.
