Doaaaaa yessss. I missed him at gsl but he seemed happy at ipl but yussss ogn english cast

Edit: wow, plexas opinion really surprised me....and doas response was heartening.(as opposed to disheartening, idk if heartening is a word) I would like sayle, or even the return of the code a casting trio with some deal with ogn. Because doa and wolf are good in my memory, even though i deeply enjoy woffdor now.

Super excited to see the return of Painuser and (hopefully) HD. I really hated that we always got stuck with the same casting team of CatsPajamas and blah...and of course it'll be awesome to watch OGN with Doa.

Too bad for IGN, but DoA at OGN should be great.

Ouch, just read in Doa's AMA that he's getting divorced. Sad to hear man. Good luck at OGN!

I've always suspected SC > Marriage, and this only serves as confirmation.

Doa did say that it wasn't esports related though.

On a different topic, isn't OGN content mainly targetted at Korean audiences? I have very little interest in what OGN has to offer based on what I've seen from them so far (SC2 and LoL-wise), so it kind of surprises me that they keep absorbing english-speaking casters... I miss Moletrap

You don't want to watch OSL?

Now that you mention it, will OSL admit non-KeSPA players next season? I'm under the impression that OSL = KeSPA players only, but I'm not sure. If they admit outside players into the OSL and we can see some top-tier play, then I might be interested

Yes, you can see that in the current OSL groups for the upcoming season.

I think what will be interesting is, will they run another split qualifier for the next OSL season because if they don't there's a good chance there will be 0 bw pros in the next OSL.

Yeah mine too right after Doa and Wolf. Really hoping to see them together again at some point in the future even if its just a private stream or on special occasions.

Furthermore, the whole KESPA+MLG partnership came about because Kespa wanted to market themselves more to foreigners I believe. I think Kespa is very seriously considering the foreign market.

What could have OGN done, though? Out of everyone available, Doa is one of the best.

Only thing they could have done is offer Apollo the bank and beg him to move to Korea. Rotterdam is with NASL, Tastosis and Wolfdor are with GOM, and then Day9 is not going to move to Korea for OGN. They didn't have a great list of options to choose from.

I'd like to hear why you think IGN/IPL isn't putting on a good production. Because this just sounds retarded.

I'll ignore your post seeing as your reply sounds like a fanboy who states that it's retarded at the slightlest dislike.

You give the KeSPA pros too little credit. (T)Reality made it through the WCS qualifiers and a couple of them beat top notch GSL players in their qualifying brackets.

You have to bear in mind that they are still playing two games. However much they practice, playing two games competitively is tough on you. Next OSL will probably only start when the BW pros are all fully switched to SC2.

Also, HotS is on the horizon. And from there, everything's kinda reset.

Doa is alright I guess, but OGN needs a star caster to compete with GOM (I'm looking at you, Sayle).

I am glad. I actually like Doa a lot. I thought that him and Wolf made a pretty good combo overall. Good luck bro.

Doa is easily one of my favorite casters. he spends so little time saying that things are "cute" "handsome" "sexy" or that he's getting "nerd chills." Really good analytical guy, and his sense of humor is so dry it cracks me up every time. wish him all the best at OGN!

I wonder if OGN will even want to hire DOA considering he didn't last with GSL. I don't know all the particulars of why he left GSL in the first place, but is it safe to assume he didn't make the cut there? If OGN wants GSL level casters, or better, I wouldn't think they would hire anyone who didn't stick at GSL.

Edit: I really wish some of the current professional players who have dabbled in casting and haven't been having success in the pro scene would make the switch and work for OGN. Selfish, I know. I know its hard for a competitor to stop competing but there are a lot of current players who, imo, have shown a tremendous amount of talent for casting.
I might be the minority on TL, but TL is the minority everywhere else.

Doa doing OSL will be pretty awesome, but will he rejoin Moletrap? the Doatrap has returned!!!!!

No he chose to come back to the US because he has a wife. I assume if he's planning a long term deal with OSL, he'll likely bring her with him and move out there at least for the time being.
I now have autographs of both BoxeR and NaDa. I can die happy. Lim Yo Hwan and Lee Yun Yeol FIGHTING forever!

Awesome news IMO. I like Doa's casting, but with IPL you could tell the daily grind was getting to him and it was offputting. When he was casting the GSL he was so much more energetic/happy - it will be great if he has similar energy at the OSL.

Edit: Oh, the divorce thing totally explains it. Fresh start will be awesome for him then, can't wait ^_^
