WRONG :D if you did your research you'd realize F2 is shortcut to take u to the quick match screen then you click search. Ergo its 1 keyboard click and 1 mouse click. So its actually one LESS click then previous. Boom! :D

Actually, they implemented hot keys if you want to avoid the extra click. You are exaggerating how many clicks you need to do.
Honestly, only thing I am upset with is that they haven't brought in more stats and such.

I was hoping they would do this! Notice they also show the end date of the season.

Everything looks so much brighter to the point of discomfort. I can't reduce the gamma while in windowed fullscreen and I don't want to lower my monitor's brightness just to play the game.
EDIT: I reset the settings and it went back to normal, was an issue with appending the low-high hybrid settings detailed in another thread.

I love the "join chat" buttons. Im sitting in general chat ... its occasionally retarded as fuck. But the amount of people in it makes it seem like there is a community out there, just seeing chat scroll up. That is by far my favourite part of this patch so far.
It's not as lonesome!

my thoughts are "wtf i made a complete reinstall and i still get language pack error" even with deleting variables.txt... hope they fix this bs zz

It'll be confusing for like, a day until you realize where things are. There are also hotkeys now (using f1,f2,etc) to get to popular menus, which no one seems to realize.

Yea, it still does random hiccups...like when your first zerglings are born 3 minutes into the game it chokes up randomly but the gratuitous churning has gone down - it still crops up in large battles though. Basically it is somewhere between the old 'low' settings and the old 'medium' settings. Changing alternateLowTextures to 0 definitely makes it playable but there are still moments of confusion and disappointment.

I'm talking about checking someone's 1v1 wins on that season. Previously, you could just click on his name/portrait. Now you have to go to his profile, ranking, current season, something else, and then check him on his division. It's pretty awful.

I think I'm the only one who likes the new look.

It says playable but I cannot fukin play. Feels to me they shut it down WAY to often. I mean ok if you need to download patch but server should always be up. It's just so pre internet'ish behaviour, oh sry that's when they finnished software before selling it ;-)

Does anyone know how to add SC2 to steam now? I can still launch it via steam, but when I start clicking in the menus it doesn't say I'm playing Starcraft II anymore, just that I'm Online and not playing anything.

Pro tip F2 brings you to quick match thus making it 2 clicks to ladder back to how it was!! Also fuck blizzard for putting the arcade button there

New thoughts on the patch. I despise it for 1 reason alone: Don't support mods. They remove the ability to mod, and they replace it with absolutely nothing...and will this REALLY stop maphackers/cheaters etc?

hate the new GUI, but the biggest disappointment is the creep spread on minimap

it has no effect on maphacks, because hacks only read the computers memory (RAM), not the game files.
