"GSL Lady" Lee Hyun Joo

The GSL mascot 'Queen of the Blades' caster Lee Hyun Joo will be returning.
On July 25th, at 11:00am at the GOMTV basement cafe located in GangNam, caster Lee Hyun Joo made an appearance at the official event for the 2012 Monsieur J GSL Season 3 Code S Finals media day after disappearing from the GSL scene for nine months.
Lee Hyun Joo, who obtained a lot fame from her fans, was a caster for the GSL ever since the 2010 open seasons. During the 2011 Sony Ericsson GSL October finals, Lee Hyun Joo announced that she would be temporary leaving the GSL scene in order to deliver her second child.
In March of 2012, caster Lee Hyun Joo delivered a healthy baby and began preparing for her return to the GSL scene.
After not seeing her for a long time, Lee Hyun Joo was interviewed at the event. She stated that "even after leaving the scene, she kept on watching the GSL nonstop while holding her second born baby in her arms," clearly indicating that her passion for the GSL had not diminished even though she had to leave. She also stated that, "nowadays the performances from these players have gotten so much better that even from a regular spectator's perspective, the games are so much fun to watch."
Caster Lee Hyun Joo is slowly preparing for her return to the GSL scene. Her official comeback date has not been decided yet but she is working hard to ensure that she will return for the fall season. She stated that "since the players' skills have increased, I am worried that there will be a lot more drawn out macro games. In order to fully prepare for my return I am putting all my attention to taking care of my body. I want to make sure I have enough stamina to be able to cast those long macro games so I have been focusing on exercising. If my health concerns are dealt with and my request is granted, I want to return by fall season."

OH MY GOD YES!!!!! YESSSSSS!!!!! :D :D :D Her voice was always so distinctive and exciting, even just hearing it in the background on the english cast. She's just obviously good at her job.

I always liked her, and would be glad to see her back. Then again I'm not Korean, and am not sure what the K-netizens think of her casting.

Hurrah!!!! I was just going to ask GOM what's going on and why isn't she back by now etc. I like her very much, welcome back! Something was missing without her, to be honest. GSL wasn't quite the same. She brings so much positive energy.

This is amazing news! I thought about her last week, thinking about the upcoming GSL Final. I miss her epic introductions and interviews, not to mention that Ready Action show. :D

Awesome! She was always extremely nice while I was over there. Gave Wolf and I rides back to the GOM house after the cast sometimes if it was raining. She took myself and a others out to dinner multiple times while I was at the GSL as well. Really glad to see her talking about returning!

Hmm I wonder, how they're going to split the Korean casting roster now. If I'm correct, the Korean casting team is kinda like this:
Code S: Engine, Park Sang Hyun, Mr. Chae
Code A: Daezang, Colossus, Gisado.
Park Sang Hyun has actually been doing a really good job (from what I can tell) and I don't see Lee Hyun Joo doing anything else except for being the lead caster for Code S.
Or if anyone watches the Korean stream, do they rotate around more often?

Yeah. I'm pretty sure those three were the original SC1 GOM casters and then stuck around to be the main 3 casters. Then Park Sang Hyun (former MBCGame caster) came in around the time Lee Hyun Joo left on maternity leave, and I'm pretty sure the Code S line up was always Engine/Park Sang Hyun/Chae. So I'm wondering how Lee Hyun Joo will fit in now.

Maybe Mr. Chae has enough stuff to do? Gotta see and wait i guess. Thanks for listing the Korean caster/commentator lineup, i was interested in seeing it. Didn't find it on liquipedia. Also Park Sang Hyun is from MSL, or?
Also on topic, she seems to care about the game and a female character is always welcome given all the other casters/commentators are male. So i'm happy she's coming back!

I don't speak Korean, but maybe a lot of you guys do! Is that why everyone is so excited about having her back? I never understood her so I don't feel any difference in the casting quality with or without her.
