ASUS ROG Summer's prizepool is 30,000$, so about the same.
Though...
This states that ASUS ROG Summer will run between August 2nd and 4th. This says that WCS Korea Nationals will go from August 6th to 25th.
No conflicting schedule, at all...

Maybe there's another tournament in the middle of WCS and MC just got confused. But yeah, if GOM can allow him to play his first match later in the week, then it shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks so much for the translation!! So glad to see MC advance
Now that you are in the OSL, you will face KeSPA players.
The KeSPA Zergs still have a long road ahead of them before they can even think about defeating me. But on the otherside, the KeSPA Protoss and Terran players only need to practice up just a little bit more and then they will have caught up to me. Oh snap, interesting comment there. For some reason he thinks the kespa toss/terran are very close but that kespa zergs are far away...hm. I definitely found that noteworthy.

both players very cocky and confident, i like it.
i hope parting does meet baby.

MC just tweeted me saying he meant WCG matches, not WCS.

Nooooo MC! man that's a pretty big let down. Who's next in line for GSL points for his WCS seed then?
Edit: Oooooh thank goodness.

If anything they'll be easier (look who else is qualified). It wouldn't surprise me at all if the 10 Korean players that advance all place top 10 at the Asian championship.

Wait...I actually thought WCS was WCG. Ah I think I get it now. WCS is the Blizzard-organize big sc2 one, glad MC's going to that one then. WCG is meh anyway

After taking out SlayerS_YuGiOh, MarineKing took on 3 time GSL winner LG-IM_NesTea and secured his OSL placement. MarineKing showed the exact same build against both Zerg players and surprised the viewers and audience with his stunning macro play.
what audience T_T i hope it picks up soon!

MKP vs Flash would be pretty interesting indeed

WCG is pretty bad but the prize pool for first place is pretty good, then again you can never be confident you're going to win a tournament. After 1st the prize pool for WCG dips off really badly.
I think it was a smart decision from MC, unless you win WCG you don't get much.

Even 2nd place was only 5k compared to 20k for first, anything less than 3rd and you go home with nothing.
