Or you could look at Taeja who if he had won GSl this season could have been considered the best current player in the world due to his ridiculous results lately. Or Hero who has improved his play a lot since joining Liquid.

Im pretty sure it has to do with practice regimen discipline. Thats the only thing that makes sense.

Beside big teams buying players from ZENEX or previously TSL, we rarely saw that. I can only remember Polt going from Prime to TSL as a main example of that kind of transfert. Not sure if Oz and aLive going to Fnatic qualify.
They were REALLY common before emerge of big foreign team/money. SlayerS were often accused of poaching players in its earlier days, including Taeja Ganzi Puzzle Coca. Also ByuN going to Prime,

That may be the reason, after all he really hasn't played his best so he probably didn't follow practice schedule or something like that...i hope it's not something more serious :/

Since he didnt specify foreign teams, it is safe to say he meant mma should join a korean team. I agree with that sentiment. Taeja looks good because he gets to go everywhere and just was good, hero got better because his nerves were lsot since he got to go everywhere. JYP hasn't really looked too much better, he looks like the same high code A/low code S he has always been. And puma..is like heart in my mind. His style kills gauntlet style tourneys like mlg, but he cant get into code A
I feel for MMa to prosper, he needs to be in GSTL and GSL and on a korean training regimen.

If MMA wants a foreign team, that's what he's gonna get. He has enough fame to get him a nice salary that only a foreign team can give him. Its all just a matter of which he'll go to. Millennium, Quantic, TL, MyM are all foreign teams that could also give him a Korean training environment. MMA training with Startale would be out of control x__x

If MMA joins a foreign team, I just hope it doesn't end up being EG. I wouldn't mind fnatic, TL or quantic, but please not EG.

Joining a foreign team will just send his carreer downhill.

MyM? Really? You mean the team that according to Liquipedia currently doesn't actually have a Starcraft 2 Division of their own, and is basically an MVP sponsor?

Is there anything stopping him joining a KESPA team?

SK released their whole roster and was basically a sponsor of MC before making him their one player. It wouldnt be the most farfetched thing to happen in sc2 and he would still be able to stay in a pro house

Ryung and Alicia were also very good, MMA just happened to be picked as the ace. Of course it probably meant he was slightly better at the least, but ryung and alicia were also very impressive.

Dunno how it works with SC2, but mostlikely you need to have a progaming(kespa) license, just like they do in broodwar. MMA doesn't have one, afaik.

An agreement saying that KESPA team can not sign GSL players for a year, if my memory works properly.

On July 18 2012 08:39 DMKraft wrote: Is there anything stopping him joining a KESPA team?
There are agreements in place where no trades can occur, as Kespa teams can afford to give salaries and it would force unfair competition with current SC2 teams in Korea. There is no possible way for a GOM player to join a Kespa team. The other way around can currently occur, but would never occur as Kespa players are earning high salaries

If he actually is leaving, having him join MC as the two SK players would be cool. Preferably though, he won't leave...

weird.. thought being boxer's protege and all that he was a perfect fit.. we'll have to see how it turns out.
