Liquid makes a lot of money of the site and EG may have more (i dont know if thats true) but we dont know how much each sponsor gives to the teams. | ||

If you go back and look at the thread for when HuK left to EG, Nazgul says something along the lines of "EG made an offer, and we made a counter-offer, but there's no way we could match EG's money. It became a choice between Liquid and a potentially life-changing amount of money." Well, not that inflammatory, but still. EG is accepted as having the most money out of most any foreign team, whether that's legit or not. Alex Garfield works everyday to bring that sponsorship in, so it's deserved, but still. There's a reason why Incontrol called EG "the Yankees of Starcraft 2." So no, Liquid won't be able to match anything EG puts up for Stephano, assuming EG courts Stephano and gives him everything they have. And that's from the players themselves. | ||
