It will force the Kespa players to play doubly hard to catch up. This means better games overall. I cannot wait for this, we're finally going to see GOM players vs Kespa players!!!!

The current GSL players bring with them an established fan-base that will show up and watch them play (as evidenced by the audience during GSL finals). They should still work with what they have at the moment and try to combine fan bases, instead you will see the players the current audience comes to see get dominated by either unknowns or players who were pretty terrible in BW. They should either make it a BW player only tourney this time or wait ½ a year with a SC2 OSL, so the BW players will not have to play 2 games at once

At least OGN politely stated this will be the last tournament and will finish it. MBC was just downright mean by cancelling the tournament after they ran their preliminaries.

Doubt any of the kespa players will catch up, gameknowledge wise to the very best sc2 guys untill atleast season 2 of this "OSL". After that, the advantage the current sc2 player has should be normalized..

BW fans wont watch it because its not BW and SC2 fans wont watch it because the play is bad. That leaves you with people who are just fans of players and if they are fans of one player they can show there early round games meshed in with other players so they can become fans of theres as well.

[11:28] For OSL, what happens to players not in KeSPA membership? Mr. Lee: For my personal opinion would be having KeSPA, GSTL, and amateurs to compete in OSL. I haven't talked this out with Gretech yet, so no details can be given at the moment. http://esfiworld.com/news/live-updates-starcraft-2-e-sports-vision-press-conference
