When MLG went to Anaheim last year, it was a massive event. The crowds were electric, the gameplay was incredible, and the mood in the venue all weekend felt like the best party you've ever been to. This year is going to blow last year right out of the water.

Immediate access to HD VOD throughout the weekend
Note: if you have a Spring Season Pass or Gold Membership, you already have access to all the above.
Broadcast Schedules (all times PT) Schedules for the two main streams:
Damn pretty sneaky of MLG to use one of the free streams to show the USA national games, instead of pool games. Would prefer the national games be on premium, but I get it, MLG wants more people to buy premium.

To be fair, I would imagine Blizzard does not want the WCS tournament behind a paywall. I wouldn't chalk anything up to sneakiness.
If I bought a spectator pass to attend the event, can I watch the VODS when I go home on Monday or do I need to buy an online pass to get instant access?

Oh, I have no doubt, blizz doesn't want their tourney behind a paywall. Just for me I'm not interested in that tournament at all, since it'll probably be similar to your everyday NA playhem daily.
Would love to see more coverage for the WCS, first rounds are entirely skipped and the LB finals landed at an ungodly time. After going through like 20 online qualifiers those players should get more exposure, you miss out on storylines there.
I love how MLG thinks about Europe and the rest of the world and puts all times in a timezone only a part of the world (America) cares or knows about. Gratz, i'm sure i'll be converting all of those.

How dare they put the times in the timezone the event is taking place....

I know man. I wish they would follow the great example of Dreamhack. They sure post times in all diff times zones....oh wait, they don't. They just post times in CEST.
Still some streams behind a paywall... i dont get that but i have to work that weekend so wont see much anyway and im not interested in the Kespa games or the Nationals so then i guess ill take a weekend without any Starcraft.
Checking some VODS after it will do it for me when i see this schedule.
MLG weekends are so great! I'm really looking forward to USA Nationals, I feel these sort of high profile regional events fill the need for something people looking to break into the top-tier pro scene can use to get recognition.
Paywall is rough. I knew when I clicked here I'd see that some games are inaccessible to the free public. I hope after this year's "experiment" with PPV and paywalls MLG will learn that having large exposure and not alienating a fan base is the better strategy.
I might tune into the free stream for a while, but in the past I found the free stream to be intentionally under produced to "encourage" people to pay for the pass. Since I will watch at most half the tournament I can't justify this.

We had paywalls on streams at Pro Circuits last year as well.
So does this schedule mean that there will be a significant portion of the USA nationals going on before the MLG event even begins? It would be nice if those were streamed in some capacity, but I know that could potentially be demanding on MLG's resources. It'll be interesting to see how the USA nationals turn out.

Its the same set up as last year.... The Beta streams are for the people who pay.
If anything the free streams will be the better production because they always feature the bigger name casters and they have their full casting set up for the free streams, while the pay streams are not at a desk really and dont have much production.

Why look at companies that have been here only for a handful of months? Why not look at companies that have been for here much longer, have much more value, and know how to properly do things?
They didn't said they aren't going to stream HotS content, so they might just be keeping this a secret! They might actually force Kespa players into playing it for us!!!!
I doubt we won't see a stream from it, just keep posting here asking for it, it shall come!!!!!! =)

but you also had that hot pockets thingy haha which i used to watch the last 2 MLGs in glorious premium <3

I'd certainly appreciate that as well...
But they already have US Nationals, the main event, and Kespa to worry about, so I mean... it's unfortunate but understandable that they weren't able to fit HoTS in somewhere.
@MLG Adam... I sure hope the quality will be a little better than what it is now at www.majorleaguegaming.com/live . I really do. I would rather MLG say everyone has to pay like they do for the arenas in NYC than this horrendous video. I can tell you that is nowhere near 480p... You can barely make out what units are what!
It actually still amazes me that MLG consistently links to the "8-player MLG KeSPA Invitational" both on their own website (with announcement of "This is the MLG Anaheim KeSPA Invitational Bracket" that still is on the front page coverage scroll) and on their teamliquid announcements yet haven't actually updated it with accurate information. I assume you can edit the news posts, or release an updated version to link to.
Players names are still wrong (Leta is Shin Sang-moon 신상문, at least if you follow the pattern of not westernizing the player names as all the other players are), soulkey's accomplishments are wrong, and fantasy's accomplishments are wrong (I also do not know where stork got 5 third place finishes).
I would understand if MLG didn't keep linking to that article, or if a new article was updated, but they keep linking to completely inaccurate information. I hope the 8:30-9:00 Kespa Player Intro has accurate information.

I've found it to be the exact opposite, with some of the paywall streams having a lower production value. I think you're seeing a conspiracy that's not there.
Not sure i like that combine the WCS USA with the normal MLG event. Seems there is too much content for them to actually cover. And as a viewer i don't think you can follow 3 tournaments on the same time. They should have done an extra event for WCS USA.

And please tell me you have any difficulty figuring out the time when all the races start. + Show Spoiler +
Spoiler your images. Stop comparing MLG to Formula 1... Dreamhack has been around for years and is a good competitive tournament that can be much more applicably compared with MLG... Unlike Formula 1...
Stop trolling and bogging he thread with stuff that's so minor that it should be a non-issue.

Stay up for sure... The pool play games will be of better quality then Kespa games anyway (although I am hyped for that also, its gonna be awesome to see all those guys...)
I have already make arrangments for this weekend (taking vacation for Friday and Monday + switching morning shift with the afternoon one the week after :D)... so let it begin :p
