Tastosis and Apollo + anyone is my favorite casting duos, closely followed by Bitterdam, so this will be great. Hopefully I can stay awake to watch it.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't put trashy casters with no knowledge of history as casters for the Kespa games.
People who have some knowledge and history only please. I don't need random idiots with no clue trying to hype games with top names from Korea.

Artosis, Tasteless, Husky etc, who have all had experience playing or casting Broodwar and know the history of some of these players would be nice.
HOLY CHECK!

Wont miss Day9 honestly, and sorry to say but im glad JP isnt going to cast this time around. He's a great guy and does a lot of good work, but hes no caster. Good lineup only missing Wolf.

Rotterdam is playing in the open bracket so isn't casting.

I'm confused why they can't let him cast after he gets knocked out of the tournament though. Can somebody explain that please?

This is nuts. Casters are paid, so you want MLG to pay for a player who might or might not be available? What if he manages to make it to Sunday?

Or are you expecting Rotti to cast for free?

There's a severe lack of logic in your thought process.

Personally I would prefere 1 super awesome stream with incredible production value and no down time etc. (and maybe 2 low budget gameplay only streams or so) than 6 streams at once with great casters which no one can watch at the same time anyway.

quality > quantity
If I want to introduce someone into starcraft i need 1 super awesome thing to show them, not 10 mediocre things.
But I guess MLG knows its own business much better than I do.

I completely agree. 2 streams is ok, that gives a little choice, but any more than 2 is just excessive (IMO).

I imagine they're running a pretty tight ship so they don't want their caster schedule based on when someone drops out of the open bracket.

The problem is that we don't have 1 'football field' we have 40 of them, operating simultaenously for 3 days straight. 1 highly produced stream would work for a smaller event, but we feel it is a priority to get as many games broadcast as humanly possible.

But, why would he want to just hang out with friends, drink and just enjoy the event. That is a stupid plan, he should hop right on the stream and cast right away for my entertainment. For no money, too. He should love to cast and do it every chance he gets. The only reason he should be paid is to make sure that he can afford food and not die. Seriosly, where are his standards?!

Because he's worth more than a free casting job if he gets knocked out of early.

How about para-humanly possible? It seems like you guys have your system down and really i feel you could step it up to beyond what standard humans are capable of. I mean, at the previously MLGs, your techs alone have proven that sleep is not really necessary to function.
