You have to provide some kind of evidence/proof (screenshots/replays etc.) if you are going to accuse somebody.
Additionally, a supporting comment of what people should be looking for and when will be necessary if you are posting replays/evidence. |

I've watched people do things like they were maphacking in tourneys. So saying what was and wasn't hacking is hard to say. I don't understand what anyone would care unless it is someone who actually plays in tournies. Why peopl;e are so mad over ladder makes no sense to me

So we shouldn't crack down on hackers who are cheating and are being placed in GM in the place of legitimate Masters players who aren't hacking but are desperately trying to get their place in GM? You can get some ridiculous advantages by hacking - "aiming to be good enough to beat the hack" is probably not feasable.
"most people forget the game is meant to be played for fun. Your record isn't some sign of your masculinity" I hate this argument so so so so so much. Being competitive about your record doesn't mean that you're not having fun - to me, my rank and achieving that rank IS fun. I derive fun from the feeling of working hard to teach myself the game, getting stronger mechanics and being able to appreciate the fruits of my labor. However, unjustly having a lower rank because people above me are maphacking and blink-stalker-micro-hacking is not fun at all.

You are a fucking idiot. If we were playing mafia, I wouldn't have any idea if this was a dumbtell or a scumtell, but if I had a lynch that I could use without losing the game, I'd sure as hell use it on you.
Literally, do you actually think this way:
"Well, derp... I can't stop people from hacking. And since no one can purge hackers completely from the game... might as well just let them keep hacking?"
Stupidest logic ever, because it leads to this (inevitably):
"Well, now more people are hacking because hacking is allowed... so I guess, I should start hacking as well, to even the playing field because I know I will inevitably face people who will hack in the future and I need to make sure I can keep up with them."

You need to get out of here. Stop trying to derail this thread by telling people that catching cheaters are pointless. Many of the dedicated fans and players play this game out of enjoyment but to know when you enter a game in which you are more than likely to lose will cause anyone to not have as much fun or enjoyment out of the game as they're entitled to. Your mentality of "this wont do anything" is the same as saying I'm just one person hence nothing will ever change. I'd like you to then just step aside and be that person who goes along life never actually achieving much because of your attitude. I believe what the people in this thread has caught on actually made more success than I thought they would. Banning these 2 hacking GM accounts might not be much but hey, it's a step in the right direction and it might just make blizzard actually wake up and start acting seeing as though how easy it is to cheat the system and actually MH their way into GM.

Detection of hacks is actually incredibly difficult BTW, it's not as easy as "Blizzard continuing to patch and just patching hacks until there are no more hacks". Blizzard's punishing of the individual hackers discourages people from hacking because it costs $$$ in order to get a new account.

I should say I never have hacked a game, but I loved "god mode" in games I've played. I guess what I am saying is don't take this so seriously, unless you are a pro it doesn't matter. (even then tourny results matter not ladder) 1. Game was not meant to be played with 3rd party cheats and it ruins the enjoyment for people not using hacks. 2. Even though I want to play a normal game how can I when they are hacking. It's intrinsically impossible. 1. not many run with hacks. 2. Aim to be good enough to beat the hack 3. Who cares? I think most people forget the game is meant to be played for fun. Your record isn't some sign of your masculinity Hackers are a small percentage to legit players So we shouldn't crack down on hackers who are cheating and are being placed in GM in the place of legitimate Masters players who aren't hacking but are desperately trying to get their place in GM? You can get some ridiculous advantages by hacking - "aiming to be good enough to beat the hack" is probably not feasable. "most people forget the game is meant to be played for fun. Your record isn't some sign of your masculinity" I hate this argument so so so so so much. Being competitive about your record doesn't mean that you're not having fun - to me, my rank and achieving that rank IS fun. I derive fun from the feeling of working hard to teach myself the game, getting stronger mechanics and being able to appreciate the fruits of my labor. However, unjustly having a lower rank because people above me are maphacking and blink-stalker-micro-hacking is not fun at all. blizzard updates to cancel out the hacks. I just don't think it deserves more attention than that. No matter what people whine about it won't be dealt with any faster. When they update the hacks will go out, and within a day new hacks will be out. Why people like you think you can make the hacks go away is beyond me. I would be happy with a hack free game. I would also like a hack free internet etc You need to get out of here.
Settle down and separate your sentences. I never was against banning hackers.
They would be banned eventually anyways. you joining the witch hunt won't speed it up and if it does you could ban innocents. but whatever lol i think I've said my point in the threads

Yes I think you have 'said your point'. I wonder if you've registered that even on the internet what you're saying sounds stupid.
