You have to provide some kind of evidence/proof (screenshots/replays etc.) if you are going to accuse somebody.

Additionally, a supporting comment of what people should be looking for and when will be necessary if you are posting replays/evidence.

This guy is obviously a map hacker. It's a pvz game where I go dt on an ffe. I make dt's and he never even scouts the dt shrine and, makes 3 overseers and sends lings and the overseers directly to the dts that i spawn.

You are way too defensive imo. One of the things that hackers have in common is that they deny the fact that they hack. Another thing in common is that they get very defensive (with an agressive tone).

It's funny that he's calling someone else bad when he exclusively plays team games and had a hacker boost his account in 1v1. He claims he doesn't know GameOfDrones but he is clearly on friendly terms with the guy and has his skype info. Someone who can't even reach masters 1v1 without being boosted yet is top 2v2 masters? It's pretty clear he is involved with hacking, either directly or indirectly. But honestly, who really cares he only plays team games lol.. the joke is really on him.

Many times those people who have surreptitious play and aggressively deny hacking are indeed hackers. We've seen this pattern repeat itself many times now.

on the other hand, if someone accused me of cheating in something I put a lot of effort and time into to achieve my goal, I'd get pretty mad, probably defend myslef in a very aggressive way because I'd want to get back at the person who accused me thus threatening ruin something I worked very hard on in an honest way.

Fun thing is, the way I react to accusations has made people think I've been lieing/ cheating in the past about other things even tho I've been falsely accused (nothing esportsrelated just normal stuff in school, broken windows etc)

I simply get really REALLY angry when people think of me as not telling the truth even though the truth is important to me.

What im trying to say is, dont judge people because of things that really doesnt prove anything, but is more based on generalizations than real facts.

whoa there, I never said I never knew gameofdrones, see, this is where all these random accusiations and statements come in. I know him and yes I've played with him, but like I mentioned in the earlier posts, I play with a lot of people with over 100 teams in my career so it's extremely hard to filter out who maphacks or not. And no I am a masters 1v1 player and did not get leveled but I haven't devoted my time to 1v1 since many seasons ago. So stop making random accusations. See this is why I am being defensive cause people are seriously trying to attack me with made-up things.

It's even more hilarious when people create accounts just to defend themselves. Who cares about some shitty little kid who's so bad at the game that he has to resort to hacks? Showing off your rank? Who cares?

@ the latest accused: If you're so sure you're not hacking, release a replay pack of every single replay over the last month. And record an FPVOD of yourself playing exactly the same why as in the replays. If you want to defend your online persona that you seem to care so much about, then do something about it instead of creating 16 useless posts.

Not at all. If I were accused of hacking, I would first laugh at the person and then ask them where I was hacking. I would then ask them to provide all points at which it occurred. If they went through all of this, I would be glad to walk them through what happened and explain.

I think the idea is that some of these people refuse to even go through their games.

I like this psychology approach to discovering hackers.

Accuse everyone of hacking. If any of them defend themselves, it's because they really do hack.

Start the ban wave!

Hey guys, the stuff with mKcPandaLove is clearly getting off onto the witch hunt area, as he's not ever going to address his on video account sharing with GameOfDrones. So, sure ask him for a replay pack like already has been done, but hey if he doesn't want to say anything in that regards there's not much that can be said publicly for 100%.

Private opinions being another matter, but there's a reason they are called private.

That isn't the point of this thread. Exposed maphackers won't be allowed in online tournaments nor in any teams, which is what we want in here. Obviously, having a ton of replays of the accused make it easier to do a report to blizzard who will eventually ban them as well.

He's in gold league so I won't be looking over this case, though others can. I suggest you report him in game if you believe he's hacking.

I agree with Ethereal, PandaLove case is getting off-topic. This player is nowhere near high ranked in 1v1, so I won't be looking more into it. We can't base accusation on how he reacts so let's leave it at that please - he clearly his suspicious, but sincerely the 3v3 and 4v4 scene isn't what we should focus on here.

This would be possible if people took the time to actually report him after their game and via email. The more attention he gets, the faster he will get banned. When the thread was made about Impa, it really helped that a lot of people joined in (few high profile players as well) and posted their replay - he got banned quickly after that.

He isn't obviously a map hacker, but he probably is. He BMed pretty bad in game and his name is JIZZMASTER, so I can see why you really want him to be an obvious map hacker. Unfortunately, he doesn't look into the fog of war to see your Dark Shrine and his screen view doesn't sit still for any significant length of time. A lot of what his actions could be explained away by good game sense and/or just dumb luck. What can't be explained away are his Queens using inject without him actually clicking on them. You should probably go ahead and report him so he can get back to his... other hobbies.

askmc70: You should have given more details in your post and clearly named the suspected hacker.

But I watched the replay. JIZZMASTER (old name RevolutionSC) is currently in silver league, but his MMR is rising very fast (his MMR seems roughly been at diamond level when the match was played This was custom game. No idea where his MMR is but it's rising as he has won all his 1v1:s visible in his web profile match history) . Time will tell how high he will end up. He is using an auto-injection hack in the replay (and likely is maphacking too).

There was a sc2gears parse error regarding this replay, so I could not check the action sequences. At first I looked for proof for maphacks and thought that he indeed was maphacking. But then I started looking at the queens, as had not seen him selecting them / injecting too many times. And yes - JIZZMASTER is using an auto-injection hack. Thus it is unnecessary to try to give solid & detailed proof for the maphack (two example situations suggesting maphacking are 1) his actions & camera during the dt attack 9:30 - 11:10 and 2) his actions & camera after he destroyed toss third 13:04 - 13:25. There is also some weird camera action throughout the replay) as it's easy to give proof for the automation hack:

Easiest way to detect the auto-injection hack in this replay is to move the camera to his main hatchery. Always just before he should inject the main hatchery you should select his point of view and look very carefully what he does (his unit selection & actions. It helps to set the speed to normal and pausing/unpausing repeatedly for not missing the unit selections). If the injection was not visible in any way from his point of view, then move the camera to his main hatch and verify if it was injected.

Here are couple of examples (there is often a rapid camera movement just after/before the injects, but not necessarily related to the auto-injects):

6:28 - He injects his main hatchery. During this he is watching his third hatchery and has it selected. At 6:29 he moves his camera to his main and freshly injected hatchery is visible.

7:07 - Until 7:07 he watches his main hatch. Larva hatch at 7:07 and he moves his camera quickly elsewhere. The queen injects at 7:08 without queen selection visible.

7:50 - He moves his camera to main hatchery just when the queen is injecting. The queen selection is never visible.

Note that there can be camera glitches when watching the replay & using rewinds (maybe even more than normally?). This kind of glitches started happening after v.1.5 when watching replays especially on Cloud Kingdom. Thus if the camera seems glitching after rewinding, watch that moment again.

Edit: Seems that I left the text idling on notepad so long before posting it that Joshhoowah already had posted similar findings some time ago. I had not read his message when I checked the replay.

Edit2: Sc2gears 12.2 reads the replay correctly. Parsing error was related to v 12.1.

Edit 3: This was a custom game according to sc2gears 12.2

I just played mKcPandaLove in 2v2. I think I've figured him out. He says he doesn't hack and says stuff like "just go ahead and post replays of me hacking, you cant!". Thing is, I think he means it quite literally. After playing him a few things seemed fishy, but not too bad. Then I watched the replay. After I made a spire, he started building cannons in all his mineral lines (main and expo) and the spire wasn't scouted. Then I tried to save the replay and post it here but for some reason I can't save the replay. It literally wont let me click "keep", yet I can save all the other ones i've played. Is this is a feature of paid maphackers or something? Does anyone else know anything about that?

I don't think that's a feature of maphacks. So, probably a bug of some sort... but I dunno, coincidences lol.

You'd think by now people would have learned to include evidence or not post a short one liner.

If you are watching the replay then the replay file has already been created. But of course SC2 client deletes the replays if they are not moved from the 'unsaved' folder (e.g. by setting in the SC2 client or sc2gears).

If the SC2 client is malfunctioning and does not let you to 'keep' (move) certain replays you can manually move them e.g. via file explorer. On Windows you can find the 'unsaved' replays:
C:\Users\[YOUR_WIN_USERNAME]\Documents\StarCraft II\Accounts\[INTEGERS]\[SC2_LOCATION_AND_BNET_ID]\Replays\Unsaved\Multiplayer\

The directory into which SC2 usually moves the 'kept' replays is:
C:\Users\[YOUR_WIN_USERNAME]\Documents\StarCraft II\Accounts\[INTEGERS]\[SC2_LOCATION_AND_BNET_ID]\Replays\Multiplayer\
