Really cool song and very well sung. I, for one, am hoping that this whole "deal with rage by 6 pooling 20 times to this song" fad thing doesn't catch on.

As a Mac zealot, I think it's awesome that you're able to make stuff like that spontaneously at 6 A.M. with out-of-the-box-software and an internal mic while in bed! However, since suggesting that there are good things about Macs usually equals the effects of a very potent flame bait, I won't post my script for a Mac vs PC commercial that just popped into my head

I'm sure you did a great job on this but I can't bring myself to listen because I hate the orignal so much. I can't even put into words why but the lyrics are like listening to someone making a bad joke and then looking at you smiling, expecting you to praise them for the vast ammount of garbage they just added to your existence. I'd rather listen to justin bieber songs than the original of this. You know how sometimes you just hate something from the bottom of your heart but there's no real tangible reason for it. Well this is one of those times for me.

It's a typical pop song, what do you expect? lol. It's extremely simple and catchy.

Haha meh it's exactly the same as Domino, Teenage Dream, and those catchy pop songs popular nowadays. I would never listen to it alone but it's fun when you are hanging out and singing along to it or whatever
Sounds good, why are the last lines not "before you came into this game" like the ones before it? Why go with "before you came into my life"? I think that would be better, but overall sick lyrics that go well with the tempo and beat.
I'm sure some dudes will like this but it isn't my style. Do more cameos in the rap parodies though, you got a good voice. I recommended you to Suspense back for that Rihana/ Eminem parody and it came out better than I thought.

Seriously, you did an awesome job with this. Cannot believe what I just heard.
If you only used garageband on a macbook and a laptop mic, that is even more impressive, the sound mix is extremely well done. While it certainly lacks a bit of definition/clarity in the background instruments, you made sure that your wonderful voice comes through just right.
This song just shows how extremely talented you are. You not only have a great voice, but you also seem to have a great understanding of music (great accentuation, btw.) and you even produced this (except the lyrics) yourself.

PS: I think I´ve seen you live on stage and behind the scenes on the lanibot stream (IPL4). I must admit that before that event I´ve never realised you did the famous voices in SC2gears. Also, really great voice acting!

though I think Magnum is waaay too harsh, i g2 agree to a certain degree. Certainly A+ for the effort, but C for the song... I expected a bit more from all the comments. Just couldnt get into it that much, but doesnt mean others cant enjoy it. And even if it's a "C" remake for me, still better then nothing and was kinda fun to listen to, so thx

She grabbed lyrics made by redditors and recorded this off her macbook. The video itself is just the lyrics, not a full blown MV like Husky stuff. Yeah, it won't win awards (lol) but a lot of us enjoy this SC parody.
And who would give critical/negative feedback on something so lighthearted and fun as this? Gosh, why so serious?

For all those complaining that the lyrics were too repetitive/too poppy sound/too much autotune, I'd suggest listening to the original first - it IS a parody after all, and the lyrics weren't written by Smix either.
Honestly, this parody is not good. maybe some of the vocals were out of smix's singing range, like I thought the "where you think you're goin baby" was pretty cringe inducing. I can't say I could do much better, and being a parody the strength should be in the lyrics but they were also sadly lacking. "i missed you so bad, i missed you so bad, i missed you so so bad", this is straight copy paste from the original and I can't figure out why this wasn't changed. Lot of other good suggestions have already been made in this thread so I won't add to it, but overall I gotta say this parody was a below average effort. I don't mean to be harsh but I hope smix can simply take it as honest criticism and use it to make her next song better.

I started to turn off the radio when the original song was on it, but since I heard this song, that has stopped
Edit: Let's start the flamewar: in my opinion thats pretty much the best sc2 song I ever heard, including Husky and all the other guys. You made something awesome out of a originally terrible song

While laddering, I came up with some possible improvements that give the song a consistent SC2 story and make it more fitting for a parody.
LastDance came up with a very good line for the end bridge. I rewrote some lyrics, keeping the first line and the chorus. Still there is room to improve the first line, but everything I came up with so far is not much better.
