Good interview. Kind of curious why Huk would think naniwa doesn't deserve the Code S spot, considering he earned it through the exchange program, and Huk's seeds have been awarded based on judgment calls. Thank you, fixed it now.
I think HuK just think his achievments in 2012 were a lot better than Naniwas, kind of makes me think anout when he was criticizing the TL powerranking for MLG because there were people he beat at a previous MLG ahead of him in the ranking.

He was different at one point? He always came off as the type of guy who wanted to win more than anything else, at least to me.

hasn't he always stated that he just wants to win? nani seems pretty singleminded about just beating people and taking championships o:

When did he say he was fighting for prize money?
As far as I remember, that's what some other people said about him / how they interpreted the NesTea incident.
If he was really after money, there are many easier ways to get it than focusing almost exclusively on GSL.

This is why Naniwa is my favorite foreign player aside from IdrA and Major.

This, Naniwa didn't get his from the exhange program, it was based on judgment calls aswell. Huk got farther in MLG winter arena (which if I'm not wrong was the biggest tournament close to them giving out the seeds). Though both of them only lost to MKP and DRG in the arena, and Naniwa had a more impressive list of who he beat. So in my opinion Naniwa's run was more impressive than Huk's, but Huk didn't really have a chance to show an impressive run as he didn't play anyone super impressive except MKP and DRG who where totally dominating everyone else.

It's probably something else All players say they don't earn their seeds, still they can think that if seeds are given out they are more or less deserving of them (even if none, according to the players, idealistically should have seeds).

great interview. I LOVE his motivation and dedication, it's so refreshing to have someone who says: I'm not in for the price money but for the competition. Probably there are others who think similarly but with Naniwa you just feel his passion and drive. Thanks for being the great progamer that you are, and good luck in winning the GSL!

No. It's bad Swedish-English translation or just bad grammar. He is saying that everyone in Startale but Parting lives in the house.

lol how are these lines of thinking still common?
Cool interview, always nice to learn a little more about popular players, especially someone who has been doing as well as Naniwa.

The fact that he only has 4 posts as well with a temp just blew me away x.x.
Awesome interview, naniwa fighting!

I doubt Naniwa is happy to be part of that lineup.
