Wow really? This is really sad to be honest. I love oGsforGG and oGsVines. I'd be sad if they didn't stream anymore because of this. What will happen to the oGs-TL house too I wonder? Huk lives in there too if I remember correctly. So would he just move to the Slayers house again?

:/((( hopefully they can somehow survive and even keep their name. SC2 without oGs would be like BW without SKT for me.

Well it was kinda obvious something was not right when so many of their players went to other teams. But it's sad. I'm having a hard time getting used to SK.MC.

This. NaDa didn't even need to play SC2 to be a salaried SC2 player. Not that I know he had a salary, but he should have.

My favorite team.... I'm sooo sad. I hope that they continue under some other name, I've supported oGs and all of its current and former through thick and thin, and cheered hard when they did surprisingly well in IPL TAC and GSTL. oGs HWAITINGGG

Not surprising that they choose LoL team with Yellow. Good luck for all dx-ogs member, I hope they can somehow continue partnership with TL even with their new team.

Well, that sucks. Combined with MLG killing all the hope for seeing bw pros in any foreign tournaments but theirs and their partners this day isn't really the best for e-sports..

Give it time. Was SC2 as good an esport when it first took off as it is today?

At this rate, it'll be a decade before LoL becomes respectable.

Maybe a decade to become respectable by the "elitist" communities. But there are already more than 10 times the players that play LoL than SC2, I would say that Riot has done a pretty good job promoting ESPORTS.

Players like Guardsmanbob net over 20k viewers easily when streaming. Don't count this game out from the ESPORTS-community because it is also helping SC2 to grow in some parts. When people are watching IEM for LoL they might tune in to SC2 and discover this fantastic game and community.

No he doesn't. Bob averages about 5k viewers. Dyrus and OddOne used to go above 20k when they were on own3d, since they moved to Twitch it viewership decreased for both of them.

I wouldn't say they have done a good job promoting "ESPORTS", LoL has 10 times the players, but the big tournaments get what...2, 2.5 times the viewers of SC2 tournaments? It really seems like LoL tournament streams are more riding the wave of the massive amount of people who play the game and thus happen upon the tourny streams out of curiosity, and not really Riots effots to get people into Esports. Not saying Riot hasn't helped, just that LoL would be getting big numbers regardless.

First of all. what is up with the TL community and making doomsday statements after every news event. Stuff happens, relax a little SC2 will be fine. LoL is a different platform, and I absolutely promise you it's still hard to make money on any e-Sport. Free to play games are even less likely to attract people who will actually pay for content.

News about oGs is sad, but they will regroup and be better for it. It's a shame they are shuttering due to a sponsor leaving but TheWind will pull something off just watch.
