Starcraft 2 stream numbers seem to be holding steady/growing this whole time that "WoW arena pt2" has been gaining popularity. There is no denying LoL gets bigger numbers but why would companies not sponsor both if they see potential returns from both games? One sponsor jumping ship because they decided they want to focus on one game doesn't really say much at this point.

Honestly the best thing for the SC2 esports scene is to go f2p like what LoL is, but then, that won't be good for blizzard because unlike LoL which has ~50 heroes there are only 3 races for SC2, and making money off portraits won't work for them...

If Nada and MC were still on oGs, this probably doesn't happen. Yeah, LoL is big and all, but if your decision is to mainly sponsor either a team headed by Yellow or a team that has lost both it's most marketable players, the choice is pretty easy.

Yeah, but they *were* on oGs and it didn't help. If oGs had got significant sponsorship as a result of them being on the team, they wouldn't have had to leave for foreign teams with less in the way of other players or practice areas but more money.

Doesn't really surprise me. The team has been falling apart for a while. The only player who ever posted good results was MC, and even before he traded teams, he was pretty much falling out of the scene. I loved watching Nada in BW, but he had sub-par results as well. Swapping over to Complexity I'm sure secured him a bit of money, as he wasn't doing well in tournaments.
