.... So you want them to sign a crap player no one's heard about? ThorZaiN gets to go to Korea. ThorZain gets paid better. ThorZain gets an opportunity that, if was not presented to him, would cause him to temporarily leave the scene. Who doesn't see this?!? And shit, how many active players do they really have? JYP, Puma, IdrA, DeMusliM. I haven't seen or heard much from Machine or LzGaMeR competitively, and as some have noted HuK hasn't really been on the map since Code A.

They contacted him before his Dreamhack win and Thorzain was debating on quitting, but EG gave him the money and opportunity to keep going. As they say, haters gonna hate. If I had best interest if ThorZain in mind, I would say EG offer was bad for him. He should have quit SC2 as quickly as possible and go back to school. But my opinion is based purely on this move ruining my favourite team. And of course on my eternal hatred for everything related to EG.

Also, Polt is already in the GSL for Season 3; he's slated to play in the Up&Down matches at the start of the season, so he could still make Code S on merit. He doesn't need a seed. The two most likely scenarios are a) Thozain/Stephano for code S and [insert some other foreigner in korea here] for up/down b) Stephano/Winner of MLG Anaheim code S and Thozain up/down If the "offseason" gaps for GSL stay the same, there won't be enough time to factor Anaheim into Code S seeding decisions. However, Spring Arena 2 might have some impact, in the unlikely event that it's won by a Code B Korean or foreigner.

What does that have to do with the original post (which claims Puma got worse after signing with EG)?

I hope the EG curse doesn't strike my favorite foreign terran. Money is power though, can't deny it. Hopefully Thorzain takes the opportunity to go back to Korea though to actually get good training. Pretty sure Puma joined EG before Huk.
