Because these differences affect mostly lower-league terrans (Up to GM / high masters.) Professionnal players minimize the effect because they have incredible multi-tasking skills. So we are "Hoping" because it is still possible for MVP to pull it off. It will just be incredibly hard.

No, I just wanted to point out that some people have a very weird sense of humor. But I also think, that they are overreacting. Yes Parting is a bit cocky, but he is probably just fooling around. No way he would actually disrespect the king.

Because if you bothered to read carefully, you would see I said PvT late game. There is a PvT late game issue but Blizzard is ignoring it because the say the match up is balanced right now.

Parting's attitude is so annoying. I really he meets MKP next season and MarineKing plays well so he gets trashed like all the times except for the ro16

Parting interview is awesome, nice to have players that are not afraid to be cocky and don't go for the easy answer (i won because i practiced a lot, i want to show good games etc..).

Surely if the matchup is overall balanced (look at the winrates) and yet Protoss is overpowered lategame, the conclusion from that is that Terran is either a) overpowered early game to compensate, or b) good enough to end the game before lategame with a ~50% winrate regardless.

That's the point. It means Terran is strong early game. Basically though all the Terrans that dont' allin and like to go for macro games, or simply nonoriented timing attacks by getting an econ advantage instead, get boned.

Well, the guy I was responding to was complaining about Protoss lategame without making the logical step about the Terran earlygame flaws too.
Unfortunately, the game isn't as simple as blamekilly seems to think it is. Simple buffs or nerfs big enough to impact lategame imbalance or earlygame imbalance will have pretty huge effects on strategies and on other matchups.
