100% Agree.
In my opinion he was a few depot walls short of stopping Ret's roach aggression. The first Squirtle game I think he was on tilt, and I really think he would have had that one before the disconnect. His army was in perfect position to catch that blink up. After the restart he tried to switch it up and go bio, thinking Squirtle was expecting mech.. and he even almost pulled that one out.
For his first big tournament in a long while, I was impressed. He's not playing some scrubs out there.

Thank you Red Bull for keeping the venue open to cast Bomber/Huk etc.!

Even if LastShadow goes 0-6, what does that prove? There are very few players in his position who wouldn't go 0-6, man. Ridiculously hard group.
I meant to respond to this in my last post and forgot. If you can't list 20 players that could be reasonably expected to take a couple maps (or even a series!) off of that group, you don't follow the scene closely enough. If you want to promote underhyped players, there's dozens of Koreans that could "come out of nowhere" for the people who aren't super nerdy and follow Code A and Korean Weekly and actually do well. LS? Anyone who isn't a fanboy predicted 0-6, and look what happened...

Yeah guy is a real asshole for trying to compete at this venue.

What part of my post implied in the least that LS himself is at fault, here? He shouldn't have been invited, but he was, and any sane person would accept the invite. I'm blaming the organizers, not him.

edit. Wrong thread. Sorry

Are they not playing Parting vs Lastshadow?

THIS
Can someone answer this?
Also, when LastShadow 2-0's Parting and he, Ret, and Squirtle are all tied 1-2 for 2nd, how do they determine the who moves on?

LS had lost before you made your post, but just to humor you, it would've gone to map score, in which case Parting and Ret would've had 3 wins each, and LS would've had 2. He was a sure 4th before before the series against Parting even happened.

Where is VODS? Just woke up on the other side of the earth.

Thanks for the update... kinda :-P I wish it was a bit better news though. How do you know they played? I don't see any updates on the site with the results or replays. Not doubting you, just don't want to give up hope until there's none left. :-P

Also by the way they described the tie brake format at the beginning, the only way the outcome would possibly change is if LS took both games off of parting in which case ret and parting would have to play a tie braker IIRC.

Imho, Sase > Thorzain was an upset. Otherwise, yeah, it was pretty predictable.

it's not a huge upset imo as both are pretty known for their PvT/TvP matchup. Definitely saw it going either way before the event
