For some reason I lagged on this map when every other map was perfectly fine. I don't mind seeing it go for a while too much as pvp was always me vs a proxy 2 gate. PvZ and PvT was fun though

Never really had any performance problems on the map. Now I gotta go load up the map and check my FPS. My curiosity has peaked.

Oh thank god lol. I love metropolis (play it a lot in custom games), but the ladder version was ridiculously bad. I think it had something to do with the shaders/lighting bliz picked in their version. Had to unveto another map just so I could veto this one.

When I see ppl writing here i wonder what type of computers you have... mine is more or less 4 years old, and I never had a single problem with fps lag on metropolis (for example that is not exactly true in 4v4 when battles happen, and even there is not lagging all the time).

So... you guys play a game with less than two years with computers from 10 years ago? O.o

Blizzard don't remove the map, do an option with a special veto, only for this map, for ppl that want to veto it (so they have 3 vetos + 1 just for metro) and leave the map on ladder! While at office you resolve the problem for everyone, don't remove the map for the rest of the season please!!!

I haven't read through the whole topic yet, but is it possible to add one extra veto that would give you the option to veto only this map? So that people who don't have fps issues could still play on it for the rest of the season? It's a shame really.

Have no idea how hard it is to implement something like that and how worth it is for the since this is (I hope) only temporary but it might be worthy suggestion.

Oh well, was a good map, can't say i had problem on it but win ratios were around average so i won't miss it that much for 3-4 weeks, hopefully the put it back after 3-4 weeks tho... i don't want another "blizzard map", or maybe add CBTS ^^
Also, those anyone know how a map can be responsible for fps drop ? I didn't notice them, but i play with lowest graphs on a pretty good PC so maybe that's why.

Argh, was my favourite map. The island expos were kind of cool too imo. I really hope this comes back, and if not, I hope it's replaced by Atlantis Spaceship, another map I love.

This also means less map diversity, which I think is also good from a fun standpoint.

They took their sweet time. A broken man needs to be removed ASAP, and Metropolis was broken in that it lagged some players.

I would love to see a permanent replacement out this season, but I simply don't know if it's necessary considering the fact that Metropolis probably will be back in no too long, as soon as they fix the issues they're having.

Never knew it was the map. I was already looking at a new PC and everything. Lost me 5 TvTs in a row on that map and might have cost me GM :< Forever rank1 masters. Only happened vT for me though.

Wait not true, did happen vZ/P as well, just not as often o.o
