Honestly, IPL had taken me almost completely away from Gamespot, even subconciously, I was just used to typing in ign.com. With CBSi's resources, and MLG's high production standard, hopefully this will revolutionize what we can expect from streaming media in the future: Lagless 1080p+, multiple streams, easy navigation, etc. One can hope, anyway.

I know its a network on the web or something like that, and that Gamespot belongs to CBSi, but what do they do, and what does MLG get out of it? more money? more viewers? Scroll up like 5 posts above you... it's a pretty huge television network, the biggest in the US. And they own a ton of other stuff. It'll bring stability, money, and growth potential most likely.

I think what is hapenning here is that the holding company is putting money on games to further boost their gaming division aka GameSpot. What we can expect from this is a lot of advertising from their side including all their brands and Gamespot itself. Basically its money put into twitch and MLG for ads. I can't see any further than that at least for now.

Additionally, as reported by AdWeek, the CBSi/GameSpot partnership will also be with NASL, not just MLG. No bias. http://www.adweek.com/news/technology/cbs-interactive-games-links-twitchtv-gamespot-partners-pro-gamer-orgs-139640?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter The first of much exciting news, with my own to come shortly. Will once again be covering MLG NY for GameSpot with Benito and Erick, lots to watch this weekend.
