He's still on the Incredible Miracles roster, so maybe he is just practicing hardcore for an event, sort of like Polt before he won IPL3.
Please don't say things like that unless you have a source. I'm a pretty avid follower of IM and all of their players and I don't remember any scam. Will you please explain what you are talking about?

Wow that's really fucking awesome He better keep doing this well in the rest of the tournament then lol it would be so amazing if he got to the finals and I would probably run out into the street screaming "HELL YEAH" if he won it lol

I'd guess it's the fnatic drama that I heard about a while back. I can't remember all the details so I'm not even gonna try for fear I get something wrong and speak unfairly. But TT1 was angry at Fenix for something when they were both on Fnatic. You could probably dig it up somewhere if you really care.
Also huge thanks to Monk for giving some insight as to what's up with Fenix!

From one of the more popular newspapers in Peru: El Comercio - WCG 2012 He looks to be doing well at the end of the video of the flag intro!

He was injured and only practices a few hours a day anymore. Still apparently Code A/Code S level though.

He has potential for code a at least seeing how little he's been practicing and how good he is

Considering he is currently in the Ro8 at WCG, that's not a bad bet lol.

Considering the only games he's played in the last month included beating Parting (albeit in a Bo1) I don't know how you could definitively say that.

He participated in BWC and went 0-4 against Illusion and 2-0 against Socke. Illussion isn't code A! Especially when nobody apparently saw how he won against Parting and on what map.

what does no one watching it have to do with that it happened? that seems like a stupid point to bring up to me. also i'm pretty sure Illusion would be code a level if he competed in GSL. That's all speculation though which does nothing to disprove the point at hand which says that "Fenix is still pretty good albeit only practicing arround 2 hours a day".

Didnt parting forfeit that match?
|
Hes still playing i think.

From what I heard, PartinG went for a quick third nexus and nearly died from a SCV pull but then Fenix was too far ahead. No source, 99% sure it wasn't a forfeit.

No, I watched the match with my own eyes. He won the game.

Well he did get kind of an unlucky draw. There was only 3 terrans in the whole event that he could potentially play, so he heavily focused his practice vs Zerg and Protoss, then he ended up playing 2/3 of his matches vs Terran.

if BW taught me anything, it's that Fenix is never truly gone.

I missed the opening but there were bunkers in parting's natural so he took his 2nd base at his 3rd location at entombed he managed to clear out Fenix's forces but Fenix held the counterattack with like 3 or 4 bunkers. Fenix got 2-2 to just +1 armor of Parting. Parting went up to 3 base vs 3 base. Fenix went for a mid game scv pull timing attack with 2-2 and Parting didnt have enough to hold on. the game was played

If he really tried, I bet he has the potential to be on a KeSPA team. It's all about the potential, let's gauge someone's potential. This guy has potential, that guy has potential. If he practices enough and sets his mind to it; he has the potential to go far. He is definitely GSL material, look at all that potential. He has the potential to potentially achieve a potential notable tournament and potentially set himself apart from other foreign Terrans who may have potential too. Potentially.
+ Show Spoiler +Let him practice, play, participate in tournament and let's just see how well he does

I've been waiting a while for this thread to pop up. Last month I remembered Fenix and just thought "wow, where is this guy now?". I was too lazy to make a thread inquiring about it though.
