both zergs in same group is kinda lame, at this point hoping for neither to have to knock the other out lol..

He might but his team does. and Startale does. and I think Sase is a good influence on Naniwa

It doesn't matter whether Naniwa sounds confident or not, he's always like that in interviews.

I'd much rather have a humble-sounding Nani who 2-0s his group than certain other players who call their opponents trash and then get destroyed in embarrassing fashion.

lol at least he 2-1d his archrival today
if we're talking about the same person

I don't disagree, but it wouldn't shock me to see naniwa beat him. Naniwa was gonna be the underdog no matter who he picked.

Leenock is definitely the easiest choice, HerO might as well fall back on his PvZ for this one i guess

For those questioning NaNiwas pick, you have to remember that he only had three real options because he didn't want to pick a ST member. The only one left were Taeja, Leenock and Supernova.

I don't think NaNiwa is super confident against zerg so you only have Taeja and Supernova left. Hard choice but I think NaNi picked the best option.

Even if you include Virus & Squirtle, SuperNoVa is probably the weakest vP out of them. (After Virus was able to beat MC in macro games).

Hero does seem to be in a tough group atm but one good thing going for him is that he can choose a terran or zerg so he does not need to practice his PvP match up. There are no easy groups in the GSL anymore. Only groups with favorable matchups and Hero's PvP does seem a little weak imo.

Ya because he is a foreigner not because he is lacking inn skill. Naniwa has showed that he can beat every player put in front of him if he plays his best

Do you want him to say "Obviously I should have been given the seed" or something along those lines?

Why not. Speak your mind lol.

lol that is total BS. I guarantee 99% of progamers read teamliquid/reddit/playxp constantly. naniwa probably moreso than others.

you know him SO well

I'm not saying its a fact. But it is most likely true. I mean, MKP and Byun were searching their names into playxp during IPL4 during their downtime reading all the comments and said they do it a ton in the interview with Lani on the player cam.

STC said he learned a lot recently from watching MKP's replays and says he likes playing against good terran players so he picked him.

I got the impression he meant he wouldn't let what people thought of him affect his gameplay, not that he would do whatever he wanted with no regard to his image.

What is the advantage that koreans have besides skill? This comment doesn't make any sense.

What you can guarantee out of thin air is hardly of much value, though.
