Would they have been banned if it was a "normal" launch of a new team? Maybe not.
Would they have been banned eventually anyway? Probably. Just because the joke accelerated their ban, doesn't mean it caused their ban. They caused their ban, Eclypsia didn't make them say whatever they said which led to the ban.

Ehhh. I don't really care one way or the other, but unveiling the launch of your team with a publicity stunt that was obviously going to generate a lot of negative attention probably wasn't the best idea. Particularly because if people didn't happen to read this thread, they're just going to remember that there was some sort of controversy at some point.

Anyway, GL to the people on a new team, it's always nice when players get supported. I will say that I've never heard of any of those players with the exception of desrow, who should probably do something about that weird-ass neckbeard, but I don't see why he gets so much hate; he runs a pretty good stream.

Lol pack up our shit leave? So we shouldn't have an ability to express our opinions now? TL has never been about taking that away. They have strict rules yes but that isn't one of them. And it's a very legitimate reason. They haven't apologized, they made people legitimately feel sorry for the players and I even said in the other thread I'd be pissed if the player was in on some terrible April fools joke like this. But you are the one who needs to "chill your tits" and you are the one who needs the think about your posts before posting them. How about say "that isn't my opinion on the matter I don't think it's a big deal." and leave it at that.
