The traffic on all the broodwar fansites is going down, on Tl if you get 5 new threads a day in the broodwar forums that is already a lot. Iccup is slowly but surely dieing, other broodwar ladders already stopped their service. People that still watch broodwar are probably between 20-40 years old or korean girls that adore some pros. I watch OSL games occasionally just because broodwar was an awesome game for like 8 years of my life, but i don't get up in the middle of the night just to watch a game anymore. It just seems that there is no more money in broodwar and there are rumors that most of the broodwar pros already started playing Starcraft 2. So yeah i agree with the person at the start that it is inevitable that broodwar broadcasts will end some day. Nobody really knows if that is in a year or two but broodwar wont be there for another 15 years for sure. | ||
