Really liked the Select interview, didn't really know much about his personality and this interview showed he was a much funnier guy than other interviews.
mad props to stephano for calling out on Zerg having the edge over toss in ZvP ... plus his approach to the game is so refreshing always have fun while you play, he's got a little bit of Day 9 in him >.<
Hot Bid has the best interviews... I always have to watch them all. All of them were really good... I can't even name favorites. Seriously, thank you for doing these and please make more! They are one of my favorite things about any tournament.
God I love Stephano is just like "Yea, whatever. If you say so", because he just want Hot_bid to shut up trolling. Priceless interviews!
Also, I made a post earlier where I said I didn't like incontrols personality as gamer, but I think I have to pull that statement back. Thumbs up to him.
hope jinro go far this time. Sorry for TLO he lost for jinro, but hope he get back in his foot, if im not wrong, he's in the losers bracket. Stephano losing for polt also shame for the US-A player, but hope he can get back!
I kinda prefer troll or semi-troll interviews before serious business ones. You already know what people will answer if you ask them serious questions, but troll interviews bring out the personalities of people which I think is more interesting and more entertaining to see. Really good interviews!
Thank you for the interviews so far, love the backstory and the laughs. In the Incontrol one he refers to a song by TotalBisquit, which one was he referring to does anyone know?
Wow, these were all great... can't decide which one is best, so I won't... Keep it up! DRG would be awesome, and you need to get TLO and HayprO to do interviews!

I think anyone, even pros, trying to emulate MKP is rather suicidal. It's like telling a gold league player to do MMA style builds that require double banshee, triple drop, expo and contain multitasking. Start out small. MKP's mechanics are truly of a genius level, even when he uses inefficient builds or falls far behind, he can make things happen with pure skill. It's not something you can simply take some notes and ideas on paper and copy.
I kept thinking about just how easy it would be for Incontrol to hammer throw Hotbid. I mean look at the handshake at the end. Incontrol's hand like, consumed Hotbid's.

Yeah I agree. Telling people to emulate MKP is not very smart, neither MC to some degree. Both do some crazy stuff that really shouldn't work and yet it often does.
Stephano - Do you think people care aboot what I eat? HotBid - Definitely. That's the number one think people ask about. Stephano - An my poos too then? So that, we can talk aboot my poos. HotBid - Your what? Stephano - Poooo... My pooo HotBid - What!? Stephano - POOO!!! ...shit. HotBid - Ooookay... Haha. err. Stephano - Let's not talk about it.
Excuse me hot_bid... but it seems to me that you are actually engaging in copyright infringement by not abiding by the demand from catz to get an icon....

Still , the point of my message is that it's not ''professionnal to say that protoss is a piece of shit race and you don't need acutal skills to play it'' ...it's like saying to all protoss players : you guys shouldn't be there and you're all noobs when it's not the case.I Just think when you are in a phase where your weakest matchup is T/P/Z Vs X you are propitious to say : this race is bullshit etc.Just look at Stephano , he's not complaining about his ZvP , he even say to HotBid that he felt sorry for P players, does this statement prove that Zergs are the favored race ? Not at all . And when you hear IdrA say that Protoss is all bullshit when he's losing does that prove Protoss are Favored in the matchup ? Neither . I think your best/weakest MU will depend on how manny time you practice it and depend on your playstyle.I could agree that MKP builds and overall skill/strat cannot really be emulated cause they are risky and unpredictable but i think this is how you separate the best from the rest. For example now the new tendency of the protoss is to two bases allin and it's very strong and hard to scout but it's only because most of the pro's didn't really figured out how to hard counter it(except maybe stephano and MKP because they hit a different timing when they take the protoss off guard) and when it will be done , nobody will talk about the Protoss and people will have a new ''scapegoat''. Anyways you guys might not agree with me and call me whatver you like but this is my point of view.

LOL :D
Haha, Stephano really didn't like that question loool
That would actually be freaking hilarious if DRG ends up doing some ultralisk drop harass. If there is one person that can make this work, it's him :-D
Polt and DRG are easily up there for top english speaking koreans. I like how humble Polt is and how highly he thinks of his rival stephano. he agreed with hotbid on stephano being top 5 zerg if he went to Korea, which is arguably top five zerg in the world.
wow i watched only one interview...the one with stephano and i'm not gonna bother watching the rest... clearly stephano wasnt happy with the questions. way too act like a typical american... no wonder europeans dislike our (american) attitudes...i was expecting a more professional interview.

I am surprised that was the first Hot_Bod interview you have ever watched. Most of them are like that. Anyway it is your loss. You are missing out on a lot of good interviews. I also didn't think stephano cared at all considering he is one of the most laid back players and has a I don't care attitude...
These interviews are awesome! I loved the interviews! Especially the ones with TLO/Stephano/Huk/Bling. ^_^ Hot Bid trolling + pro gamers make such a funny combination! I hope you do more interviews even if you have to go to the same people and interview them again!
Need interviews from Marineking definitely, and maybe a few other of the pool players. ostojiy, alive, rain, parting... anyone Love the interviews so far :D!
The funny thing is that I actually like Huk. I think the game he is talking about that I said both players didn't play well was Huk vs. Brown in the GSL.
Don't hate me Huk. If I'm not removed from TL, I will now always predict you to win every match you ever play again.
I love how HuK read the power ranking. "I got 16! and oz got higher than me! I beat oz,! Ret also got a higher ranking, I just beat ret! If I play Oz ill beat him again!

Funniest thing is, after his Up and Down group, I wrote a recap about him, but since Wax already did one, it never got posted. Here's the ending:
Huk played well, but with his two losses to the other two players tied with him at a score of 3-2, he was out. The two Terrans Virus and Fin moved onto the 2012 Season 2 of Code S and left Huk back all the way in Code A. Even though it looks rough now, there are a lot of good things to take away from this night, Huk fans. First off, like mentioned before, he was sick and was shown coughing throughout the night. Secondly, after his lackluster performance against Bumblebee in Code A a few weeks ago, he looked ten times better tonight, losing only two games where in one he went for a DT victory and the other where Virus prepared a great build against him. His PvP was good as ever, beating Killer and Brown, and he even won against Lucky on Crossfire which was possibly the biggest mismatch of the night on paper.
Naniwa might be the only foreigner in Code S next season of the GSL, but Huk proved tonight that he still has the ability to make it back up through either the Up and Downs again next season or straight through to Code S with three straight victories in Code A.
But yeah, never picking against Huk again. #1 Foreigner Hwaiting.
Really enjoyed the Demu interview when he discussed his series against Ostojiy. Million dollar smirk when he said he cheesed him out in the final game lol :D

LOL poor Fionn, I wouldn't want to be the target of HuK's wrath. He might tickle you to death!
Hot_Bid, Kennigit great interviews as usual. I agree that HuK is great with his fans! Met him at MLG Anaheim 2011.

it's awesome that progamers read the power rank and get offended ahaha can't imagine that for the bw scene. imagine flash coming in here and giving a death threat to wax

Yeah fionn, time to man up and stop cowering in fear of huk and apologizing. Stick up for your own opinions. Don't let huk have power over you like that as it's kind of silly.
I hope your bodies are ready for a 30 minute interview with @liquidhaypro . It might be the best piece of content we have ever released
Oh boy I can't wait for this. Everyone always talks about how awesome Haypro is but we never get to see the funny guy they are always talking about. ^_^

The Select and Catz interviews were awesome. It was also cool to hear Naniwa say that he thinks he didn't deserve the Code S but he would be foolish not to accept it. Very honest answer.
Been really enjoying these especially the day 2 stuff, getting to hear Polt and DRG in english was awesome. The Huk and TLO interviews had me laughing at my desk a number of times. Also <3 Bling, great accent tries, looking forward to seeing a cane at IPL

I think you mean Hayder, he's HayprO
Ah ok Thanks I thought that was who it was, but thanks for clarifying for me.

This! The way they handled that last bit and the looks on their faces makes me think there is a new player... I think its between 2 players... What do you guys think, Liquid'Taeja or Liquid'Ganzi??? Personally I think it'll be Ganzi
lol @ huk's interview. I guess it could be just me, but listening to him smack his lips and chewing on a piece of candy while talking about getting drunk and picking fights with ufc fighters and bouncers... I know this guy is a personality in the community but he really comes off incredibly obnoxious and arrogant.
Huge props to DRG for doing his interview in English. I think its great that koreans are stepping outside of their comfort zone. I wasn't a fan before, but its hard not to be after that.
After watching the interview with Sundance I'm a little bit worried about Halo's future.
It would be a travesty to have a title that brings such awesome high level competition taken off the circuit. I found myself for the first time watching more Halo than Starcraft 2 on Championship Sunday, I almost skipped the Starcraft final entirely to watch Status Quo vs Instinct.
Really hoping it sticks around, I honestly thought it had the best tournament out of all the games present at this event.

The reference completely went over your head. I believe they were referring to Nazgul.
Mother of God and all things holy.... The Haypro interview is 10/10. I'm DYING..... FUCKING DYING. I choked on my rice and curry chicken TWICE already, and spitted out water. The combination of timidness by Haypro and the shining light of common sense with a dash of trolling by Hot_Bid makes for a flawless interview.
Hot_Bid: So Slardar, what did you think about the Haypro interview?
Slardar: .............I don't know.
*edit* FUCKKKKKKKKKKK HAYPRO SPOILED ME ON GAME OF THRONES!!!! NOOOO HAYDER WHY!??!
*edit2* I wonder what TLO was laughing so hard about in the end. Ironically for a SC2 Interview..... we covered like a single one liner question pertaining to it. Just really good, because I'm also really socially nervous and shy, so I could relate to the lack of words by Hayder, but half the time I feel like I'm being trolled. HB asks a question, and Hayder is just pondering for 10 seconds and I'm all anxious for this epic response......"I don't know" LOL bam. Haydered? Can we make Haydered a thing now? WE'RE MAKING HAYDERED A THING. OK GUYS!?
I really like the more "causual" nature of the interviews compared to some others. You feel like you get to know the players a lot better, which is awesome if you ask me.
Just watched the HuK interview, pretty good too. Fionn is marked for death apparently! True Chris at #16 made no sense, he deserved to crack top #10 with Stephano.
GSL Up and Downs...Korean commentary. "AHHHHHHHHH CHRISSSSSS LORANGERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!"
I love how Hot_Bid went into "and before Chris left, he got me...*and Waxangel a going away present" * - I just started laughing here and was like. What, did he give you his sickness? Cause HuK was just licking all his fingers having a Laffy Taffy orgy then gave HotBid the WRAPPER... LOL.
Nothing in the world existed there, for Chris, it was him and his Laffy Taffy. HB is just trying to interview a guy with his mouth wired shut from pink goodness, and HuK is like DUDE IM EATING MY FUCKING TAFFY! Then he got fired from EG for racism. True story.
Thanks to TL, watching the interviews, they are all great.
I wanna say Hot_Bid is an incredible interviewer and I anxiously await more at Anaheim. Also he and Huk should seriously start a sitcom, they're gold together.
