I think he did fine on ladder against Parting and Oz. I wouldn't go as far as to put him favorite against MC :D
Certainly against foreigner protosses however, Stephano just doesn't lose to this stuff.

I'm not really sure of Rob Simpson getting to cast here...I wouldn't mind him as a host or as someone who does interviews and stuff but as a caster? Just feels like there's a lot of ppl out there who can make a better play-by-play shoutcast. But I really hope he does a good job this weekend and proves me wrong!

I wouldn't favour him against MC at all, MC plays so different from anyone else, you can't really anticipate anything if you haven't played a lot against him before. Let them face each other a couple of times and I'd say Stephano's chance get better and better, but I wouldn't go so far as to say he's favoured. And I'm kind of a fan, too.

Don't worry about his stamina, at Lone Star Clash he said he has no problems with that.

LOL he is obviously there because its a good way for MLG to kiss up to Blizzard. Better get used to Rob showing up at more tournaments now that Blizzard is taking a more active role in ESPORTS.

I don't get the Rob hate Also to clarify, Rob's presence has nothing to do with Blizzard. Little known fact is Rob's first esports job was with MLG casting our events at 16 years old. He left MLG to take a full time job with Blizzard. Even though I'll never forgive him for leaving, we love Rob's casting and will always welcome him back to our events!

To me, Rob seems to be a nice man and a nice caster. Keep on keepin' on with him !
SC2 is the best game to watch and was the best to play before I grew old and slow...

Pretty sure it's just a vocal minority. Weird considering how much everyone loved him at providence and he was pretty well received at IEM and MLG Winter Arena too
I root for Euro Zergs, NA Protoss* and Korean Terrans. (Any North American who has beat a Korean Pro as Protoss counts as NA Toss)

If Grubby makes it out of this group, I'd say he's secured his position as a top foreigner. No Zergs to play, but if IdrA or someone similar makes it out of the open bracket and gets placed in his group, we'll get to see at least one.

Well the groups are done by seeding, and it has been proven that MLG's seeding system sucks; that's why they're changing it for next season. No use complaining anymore.

I suppose MarineKing got the hardest group, but most of the reason for that is him being in it. I would certainly not want to be in a group with DRG and Naniwa either.
We found Dove in a soapless place.

Would you care to justify your claim that he's a bad caster, rather than writing something useless like "Cringe?"

Most people seem to enjoy him, as do I, but I don't understand why others would rather see someone else.

Violet and ret are sure no pushovers, Sockes PvP is not that great though. Sure, the group is not as tough as group A, but Huk is not through yet.
