I remember people having grudges in Marvel vs Capcom 2. People would bet $3,000 on money matches. ($3,000 Marvel vs Capcom 2 Money match Teaser Trailer) Imagine the intensity of knowing that if you lost... you were $3,000 in the hole or taking bragging rights and $3,000 from your opponent. I understand Starcraft 2 is a lot more friendly competitive game, but man sometimes I miss how MvC2 was so rich in drama. That game was so serious and everyone had grudge matches with money on the line. It'd be nice if Stephano and Naniwa actually put their own money on the line and had a grudge match. I know stephano is hot and wins so much shit, but imagine if NaNiWa competed in a lot of these lesser tournaments, I think he could have similar success. anyway, would be so much fun regardless, 2 of my favorite players. | ||
