Really? I was quite excited until I saw this. Honestly it's really disappointing. It's not a bad lineup by any means. Hypothetically, who would you add? Am I the only one hoping that IPL releases a post-event photo album a la The Hangover? Orb, Bitter, Rotterdam (Grubby), (TLO), Khaldor, Tastosis, Wheat, Husky, Adebisi, keep Apollo. (If they aren't playing in the tournament). On the plus side, MKP and MC will be there, and presumably Reis too. Who needs any of those when you have the Korean "Sex on the Beach" trio?
I'll take more overlord bashing jokes by TB over that trio. Thanks.

Well, the 25% off on 4 nights deal is expiring in 3 hours. I'm just going to hold out in the hope that the deal with IPL is better. Its a shame we couldn't get any word on what the deal was in time.

Having participated in Vegas-based conventions a few times in my industry I'm definitely excited to being going back to the strip for another "convention-esque" event. While and expensive city I'm sure that IGN has something worked out to make the live venue more approachable for the general fan-base, especially considering the cost of airfare and that the event happens to occur over Easter weekend, a time when air fares tend to skyrocket since it's a holiday. I'm a huge believer in what they and other organizations are trying to do and hopefully things will all work swimmingly come event time. I know that any of you wondering if it's worth the expense to see the event should DEFINITELY consider this event very seriously since Vegas is an extremely enjoyable town. Tons to do and lots to enjoy if you are truly interested in having a good time, but with esports madness who needs to even bother with other things? Regardless see whoever ends up in Vegas there again, looking forward to enjoying some good times and great eSports soon!

If the Cosmopolitan is something you can't afford, even with IPL's discount, you can always check out other Hotels nearby. Everything is right next to each other on the strip so the walk isn't too long.

Like very quickly? pleeease?
Don't worry about missing this promotion, it was not actually a discount but a hotel credit. You would pay full price for the room and get either a $50, $100, or $150.00 hotel credit that could be used anywhere in the facility - but not for a discount on the room price.

AGREED! I stayed at balley's once, which is easily walking distance, and the cost was $30.00 per night. I've also been to the Planet Hollywood which is right across the street for under $100.00 a night. If you want to venture farther, like Circus Circus, I imagine you can find even better deals.

This is actually the first time I've ever considered paying for a premium ticket. Awesome job IPL.

You're looking at the wrong deal. There was a buy 3 get the 4th free. The deal you speak of was also available.
Here was the deal http://www.cosmopolitanlasvegas.com/stay/packages/offers-details/book-3,-stay-4.aspx

I see that now, too bad because that might have saved some money. Now I really hope the IPL4 package deal is a savings because four nights at the cheapest room costs $845.60 with taxes.

Really want to spec this! Its gotta be worth the trip

VIP ticket: $87.50 PHL to LAS roundtrip, non-stop, first class: $838.46 (additional $49.50 if I want wifi during flight) Projected stay at Cosmo: $845.60
Total: $1771.56
add to that food ($100.00) and alcohol ($2,000.00) and this could be a pricey trip - although well worth it in my opinion!

Agreed. While it sounds like a lot of money, lots of us would have spent that much on Blizzcon this year, which isn't happening.
The only reason why my wife is ok with a near $1000 hotel room is because we've done that every year since 2007 for Blizzcon.
Edit: Although, $2000 for alcohol sounds a bit extreme.
