Yeah I understand that the veteran members get cut slack and that if you gave everyone the ability to make troll threads like this the forum wouldn't be use able, but where do you draw the line between what is a joke and acceptable and what is offensive and unacceptable? If Grubby were to make a thread responding to this calling Ret out and making fun of your organization I can't imagine that thread would stay open. That being said I guess this is more of a theoretical tl policy debate and would better belong in that thread.
On another note, giving leniency towards your players making homophobic parodies of other players, while at the same time having banners about hurting e-sports and fronting as a professional team for Starcraft seems counter productive. Yes making jokes should be allowed as long as they're appropriate. I guess it just surprises me that you Nazgul as a guy trying to run a professional business in the developing field of "E-Sports" wouldn't want to hold your players to some professional standard. "With great leniency comes great responsibility" (or something like that =p). Seriously though I think all professional players should be a little bit careful when making jokes, but hey maybe I'm just super conservative. I can't speak for any business but you generally don't want someone you sponsor to be making homophobic comments(maybe twitch/razer don't care). I'ld be really interested in hearing your thoughts on the matter though If you end up seeing this. Hope this isn't hard to read =/

They can decide whenever they like, this is their website, this is not something that must be 100% defined and stayed to, if Nazgul wanted to he can ban everyone in this thread and he doesn't even need a reason.
And anyway this is a JOKE which is kind of poking fun at Grubby but as stated it is just a JOKE. If Grubby made an official post where he was talking shit about liquid then of course that is completely different.

Ret's post feels alot like when Eminem used to diss Michael Jackson with completely inappropriate ryhmes. For Eminem it isn't surprising, because it's how he got the attention, but Ret doesn't need that kind of controversial stuff. People can sense the difference between positive humor and negative stuff mixed with some humor, packaged as pure humor.

Was always iffy about Ret in the first place. This just proves my gut feeling that something wasn't exactly right about him. Incredibly lame and awkward post. Nothiing worse than an unfunny guy failing at an attempt to look cool and embarassing himself in the process.
