The whole supporting (or not taking a shit on at least) other games even if you don't like them sort of comes down to trying to get esports to become more legit outside of this niche community. I play DotA2, I don't play LoL, it's just not my thing. If LoL is taking off a bit and I do nothing but shit on it I'm basically trying to sink the ship before it has a chance. Well if everyone is actively trying to destroy every other game out there none of those little boats are going to ever float and we all drown. That's really quite a stupid move. But if the S.S. League of Legends starts to make it maybe my game could be the next boat to launch. We're just a bunch of nerds who like to play games. It's not like we have the world in our back pocket so shitting on other games is for all intents and purposes sabotage to the scene. Maybe I got it wrong but that's how I see it =) | ||

I feel that people who bash other games are trying to assert themselves as the more "pro"gamer in that their particular game requires more skill. Ive played Fps/Rts/Mobas, every game takes its own unique skill set and should only be comparable to other players playing the same game. I have much <3 for any gamer and to each his own, I wont bash LoL since i play Hon, its just a different style of the same game that suits my particular interests more  | ||
