Why do you mention "Day9 vs pros"? You should mention him just playing in general. He's not even good enough for Grandmaster. Thinking he could even begin to compete with pros is laughable. LOL Day9 had/currently has 3 separate accounts in NA GM. It helps that he was a pretty damn good BW foreigner too Proof? This was debated over and over. Our only proof is the word of Day9. If he lies to us .... than that's that. Until then, he had 3 GM accounts as far as I am concerned. where did he say it? He confirmed the rumor on an episode from state of the game.
This is not possible because I have 199 NA GM accounts......just take my word for it

With him being hopefully featured soon and the late hour making it possible for NA and EU to watch, we NEED TO break the 10k :D

This story keeps getting miss told. Day9 said he at some point was GM with each race. Not necessarily at once and certainly not anymore, there is no reason to say this is not possible. This also has gone way off the track of the original post, the point of which was not how good is caster x or player y, but rather the type of unique pressure these stars/famous people experience, that most of us never go through. Boxer doesn't seem to have much an issue in regards to what I originally said though, because he is laddering 1v1s now and is playing vs Korean GMs, even though his account is still diamond. Which in itself is pretty hilarious and awesome.

lol wtf he's diamond but he's beating grandmasters. How did his account get so low, inactivity?

Although it is somewhat irrational, I felt insulted for a little while there while Dota2 stream had more viewers than Boxer. I actually like Dota2 and hope the scene grows, but for a single streamer to have more viewers than Boxer is borderline blasphemy to me. Thankfully that is not the case anymore, well on our way to 7k.

He has the most viewers. all is right in the world of Battle.net.

One thing is for sure guys ... you will certainly need to keep debating this interesting topic of Day9 here and there, while the rest of us is watching Boxer's stream... since this thread needs constant bumping. Just saying!

I don't think they ladder much in general. Ganzi was streaming as well, his account had over 400 points worth of bonus pool. I don't know what their practice consists of, but if it is laddering 10-12 hours a day, they might be using a lot of smurfs. I would think they do a lot more of customs though, it has a lot of advantages, depending what you are training/trying to improve.

He moves the camera to hunt for obs. brilliant.

I think if nestea or mvp were to stream they would deserve more viewers since they are the current SC2 gods. Other than that though I do agree, I don't think many people should be viewed over boxer. Hell I'm watching him and I'm a zerg!

Although Boxer currently sucks ass, I'll watch it

why didn't that zerg spawn at least infested terrans instead of letting ~10 full mana infestors to 7 tanks attack moving ?! Don't understand ;o
