18 hours? thats way overkill in my eyes, actually even in BW I think 14 hours is to much practice. I think 8-10 is what should be done unless the player themselves want to play longer sure but unless I am mistaken korean bw progamers have to practice a minimum of like 12 hours a day which I feel is just to many and why I think can be partly why some players don't stay top tier for very long.

Damn 18 hours isn't that bad for your health?

Moon was also really good at BW in his WC3 days. He played with the WeMadeFox A-teamers sometimes who always commended him on being good despite continually practicing for another game. I don't doubt Moon's talent. He could probably have been a BW A-teamer if he wanted to (although he'd get much less money and notoriety given the competition, so it wouldn't have been smart).

That was probably a bit exaggerated and referred to their peak moments (maybe right before a tournament?). I love watching pro CS, but I think the practice there is more of teamwork. You need to know where everyone is all the time and which areas are covered and how you're gonna move - definitely involves more time than a 1v1 game).

Moon took 2nd place in one of the first IEM's i believe (losing to Ace) and also took 2nd place in DreamHack Summer, losing only to HuK.
And this was when he wasn't even playing sc2 full-time as he was practicing wc3 for ESWC and WCG (which sadly are the only 2 wc3 titles that have eluded him). Now that he's part of sc2 full-time and has pretty much dropped wc3, are you seriously saying that he won't be able to compete with the MMA/MVP?Nestea?MC's of sc2?
UMAD, SON?

Really nice pickup for Fnatic!

Yeah it is. That cant be very useful training. Once you get to a certain lvl the quantity isnt the important thing, but the quality of the training. (You obviously still need 8-10 hours to keep everything).

Well, yes. I don't doubt he can do really good in international tournaments but I do doubt he'll be much more than a good zerg in Korea.

I <3 Moon because he used to beat Grubby. I <3 Grubby being beaten because he's Orc. I <3 Orc dying, because I <3 Undead
