Haha whats funny is that it says he's eager to 'begin' his starcraft 2 career. He already had some good results. A full time SC2 moon is a serious threat to anyone. Amazing news, I really like that he joined fnatic instead of EG. Best of luck moon!!!

oh come on marriage doesn't mean you can't practice.NesTea is also married and had time to win 3...GSLs lol.And Moon will practice because it's his job and he has the work ethic.

NesTea is NOT married. He's been together with a girl for 5 years though but he's NOT married.

Called it! (Along with most other guys here )

Hope he has the commitment for this game like he did in wc3 cause if he does he is gonna be unstoppable.

i just don't know if he'll show the same dedication he did since he's married now.

he used to have a legendary work ethic (i remember a chinese player saying that when he went to sleep moon was practicing, and when he woke up, moon was still practicing) and if he still has that same drive, then he'll do really well.

Yup, this was a quote from WE.Sky I believe. Moon is no stranger to 12+ hour practice sessions. He was hands down the most dominant player in WC3 history. I'd go so far as to say that Moon genuinely was a Bonjwa at one point in time during WC3. I followed the scene pretty closely and I remember there being a rather large period of time when anything besides Moon winning a tournament was a major upset. Some tournaments, most games weren't even close.

Just look at the achievements page on wikipedia...You have to scroll, lol.

there's not such thing as a Bonwja in any e-Sport other than BW.

Moon's by far my favorite WC3, sad that SC2 ate that community. anyways, I hope fnatic can get a nice race balance so we can see ToD and Moon dominating when HotS comes out.

PD: fnatic reminds me a lot of MYM 2006-2007 now that they got lots of nice players in every single game they got line-ups on, specially on CS and SC2,

No mention of Sky? Clearly the third best player of all time after Moon and Grubby.

Edit: And yeah ToD in 2006-2007 was probably the best human in the world at that time, together with Sky ofc.

Sorry but to me Sky is the best or at worst the 2nd best .... When he was at his best he was owning everyone in every aspect of the game and he created so much strats !!!

Yesyesyesyeayesyesyeayesyeayesyeayesyesyea so awesome sO awesomeawesomeawesone woooooooo yeaaaahh favorite player is back to Sc2! I wasn't ever a wc3 fan so I can't say I loved his play there, but his sc2 play was inspiring to me. In a way I'm pleasantly surprised to learn he wasn't even "started" on sc2 back then due to wc3. On that note, anyone know what percent of his training will be dedicated to sc2 as opposed to wc3? I saw in this thread that he still wants to play wc3...thoughts, anyone?

Ps I'm writing this from 35.000 ft in the air, go technology!

Moon, Grubby, Lyn definitely top 3. Close mention of Sky, FoV, TH000 and LuCiFeR imo.

I am so excited about this, no need to say he will be a major force if he dedicates all his time to SC2, remember he already had decent showings throughout 2011, even though most will probably only look back obliviously and point out his failed baneling-landmine Nevertheless best of luck to both Moon and Fnatic, now that you have two of my altime favorite Wc3 players on your roster I'll sure cheer even more for you!

He was no Grubby.

Still excited to see Moon join Fnatic, but since he was a Night Elf player I will have to root against him in every game.

wait what?
I'm the biggest Grubby fanboy but what you just said is plain silly

WCG 2008 buddy. Grubby took down Moon 2-1.

Actually did Moon ever win a WCG?? I don't think so.

Grubby > Moon in WC3. Easy.

Actually grubbys win ratio against Moon isnt that positive its like 30% but what ever we have one of the sickest wc3 gosus now on sc2 full time!
Btw look at Moons Major accomplishments on wc3

How can Lyn be top 3 when he only started doing good after Orc was the established imba race? Also most koreans had retired or semi-retired when he was at his peak. Anyone who neglects to mention Sky can't have been around during his most dominant years.

The only players who have had periods were they looked unbeatable are Moon, Sky and FoV (FoV around 2004-2005 was insane). Not saying those are the top 3 wc3ers of all time, Grubby clearly deserves that honour instead of FoV, for being a top 5ish player since as long as I can remember, while FoV kinda faded away after Undead started getting weaker and weaker by the years.

Should be mentioned that europeans in general had a lot of luck in that so many tournaments had national qualifiers, which led to Koreans never getting more than 3-4 players at important international tournies such as WCG and ESWC. I doubt Grubby for example would qualify each year if he was Korean, but that's just speculation ofc

God I miss wc3.. :x
