Am I missing something? Maybe he doesn't have a real nickname in korea yet and the interviewers had to stretch to find one? I believe you're mistaken, Korea had three representatives in the last WCG Mvp, MKP and Supernova. So they probably nicknamed him that because the WCG representation being his career's peak in SC2.

Not quite sure why they named him that because there's no English translation on that nickname. One possible insight to that nickname is based off his character, not solely off his skills. The way he carries himself as a Terran player and his comebacks may be the reason why they gave him that kind of nickname, a "exemplary Terran model" if you will. I only got this insight because of what they say within the same paragraph, talking about his mentality and such. Hope this helps. I also agree with Namste's comment. lol

MVPDongRaeGu said 300 million won (~260k U.S. dollars), IMMvp said 200 million won (~173k U.S. dollars). I will set a goal for 500 million won (~433.5k U.S. Dollars) so that both of them can’t get that money. so boss yo.

I guess that makes sense.
