CAnt decide which is worse. I'd say C by far. Nestea and MVP alone make it a scary group no matter who else is in it. B is no joke though. The way things have looked lately, I'd say Leenock + Fin = MVP + Nestea. The determining factor really is the other players in each group, and even then things still look pretty even. Lucky and Idra = MC and Supernova? lol.. Lucky is better than either MC or Supernova imo. MC and Supernova are both better than idra. Relatively even imo.
Lucky is really good, but better than MC or Supernova is not certain. MC went 3-2 against DRG and beat Leenock 3-1, while Supernova has beaten DRG in a best of 3 twice now. Supernova actually stands very likely to make it out of his group, and he might even get 1st.

IdrA is a mystery (I don't get it why you guys expect so much from him, he's playing against the 30 top players in the world, not some silly foreign tournament), and Lucky had an awful Code S last season. At least Greg may have a chance of not going last place this time.
To me the thoughest group is B (poor Supernova), and the most even is F followed by H.
I'm happy because I was scared of GOM matching BoxeR (or Nada) with MVP, Fin and DRG all in their group. It seems they have pity in their hearts, as the both have good chances of making it into Ro16.
All in all, MVP, MMA, MKP and Oz are the ones I'm pretty sure will go on into the next round with ease. Lots of good protoss this time, too, hopefully they'll do something worthwhile.
Lucky wasn't in Code S last season...

This will be a lot of fun, most of these groups look quite competitive. Not sure if Idra will be able to make it, but the games have the potential to be great regardless. Boxer has a nice group since his best matchup is vT.
Anyway, can't wait for the GSL to begin again, I'm starting to get withdrawl symptoms :D

this is such a stacked code S. insane.

Idra actually has a pretty good chance considering Lucky's ZvZ and the fact that Nesteas been failing hard.
Personally I'm most curious as to who's going to finish second in group B. (Fin will 2-0 of course)

Well, no matter what the Idra fans might say, Group B is clearly the group of Death.
Death of everyone but fOrGG that is

IdrA is going to rape Group C. IdrA seems to lose when he's the clear favorite, but wins when he's the clear underdog.

I bet IdrA wishes he could swap with Sen . Still, IdrA fighting!!!!!

Idra is one of the best foreigners, arguably THE best foreigner. He works hard and is committed to getting better.
He is playing in Korea in a group with 2 of the best players to play sc2 so far. I will support him and hope he does well.
Whatever the result i'm sure he will give a good account of himself.

forGG hadn't done ANYTHING at all. It amuses me people are praising him as god and gives him as much credit as what MVP has achieved.

Why does this board go all bizzaro world when it comes to Idra?
Lets start with Lucky, he earned his spot for Code S, by beating the likes of Huk, Monster and Alicia.
MVP and Nestea can play on a level that only MMA can seem to equal at times. If Nestea is on a slump, well he is still better than the rest.
Now Idra, he isn't Code S material, not in the sense that he earned a spot to be either, either through a foreign tournament or getting through Code A. Idra will most likely end up dead last in his group, hasn't been in Korea long enough and his opponents (yes, even Lucky) are superior players.

To be honest saying that after an INCREDIBLY short training period he put on a clinic of demolishing 1) a gsl super tournament winner (polt) and 2) a GSL season runner up and former BW champion (july) and 3) demolishing an up and comming protoss hero (oz? can't remember who it was). all in incredibly short and precise manners. Like he didn't just beat polt/july to, he embarassed them and made it look like they had just gotten into code a for the first time. To say this is all nothing at all is incredibly ignorant.
He deserves alot of his hype, to say he'll be champion right away isn't exactly correct but he will win a GSL in 2012 guarenteed.

he beat sage, july, and polt. its not that impressive
His training period wasn't short, he said he had been playing sc2 for many months now but only recently decided that he was ready to play professionally. It is way too early to make statements like he'll win GSL for sure at this stage, it sure sounds alot like what artosis said about clide
