Lol... I'm no NesTea fan but I think NesTea and MVP will be the ones that makes it out of that group.

Zing~ What's up with these colors? Zerg is supposed to be red, not terran. MVP and oGs got a bit unlucky with the drawing it seems.

Leenock is my favourite player and has been for a long time. MC was probably my second favourite and is in an epic battle for that spot with DRG. fOrGG, i can't get enough. I want him to do well so bad. SuperNova also is one of my favourite Terrans. ARGH. I need less favourite players.

He really isnt, maybe in ZvT but idra's other matchsups isnt that good compared to nestea. ZvP, maybe, I don't know. I've not been hugely impressed by NesTea's ZvP, but then I've not been hugely impressed by Idra's either. ZvT Idra is very good and NesTea is abysmal late game. Honestly, past early game I'd probably give the advantage to Idra. Heck, maybe I wouldn't even give early game to NesTea. ZvZ we've seen them play probably at the highest level yet in the MLG Invitational. They were fairly closely matched, Idra was just not as good in the late game. This idea that NesTea is invincible ZvZ is just Artosis hype. Nobody is all that great at ZvZ, the key is to come up with intelligent strategies because it's possibly the least developed matchup. The only exceptional Zerg player that NesTea has destroyed is Losira at the GSL finals, and that's mainly because Losira's skillset isn't suited to playing the very best players at the matchup as it currently is. In terms of MVP, he's unquestionably the best player in the world. However, Idra is absolutely of the tier of pros capable of beating him in a bo3. All in all, I'd say NesTea and MVP are better players, but Idra could easily win his group anyway.

Of course the most obvious thing to say, after your eyes first notice his group, is to say that it's the group of death. I thought so at first aswell. But I dont think it's that bad. Nestea has not showed us great performence lately, even tho he is capable of showing us, I think it's 50/50 if he has trained hard enough or not, we will see. Lucky, the other zerg player, I dont expect too much of, and its another ZvZ for Idra, where he is pretty good. Idra is a terran killer, with some insane macro that he has showed us lately, even tho he hasnt been winning big, he has always stayed around at the top. He can beat Mvp. Did anyone watch Mvp vs haypro at mlg? Haypro outplayed him, but after a weird third game, Mvp was able to take the series. Idra can destroy him. Because Idra has the playstyle that counters Mvp. Idra is used to playing in gsl, even tho it's a long time ago his last appearance, he is calm and with experience, and it's almost like a new start for him at gsl. The way I see it, Idra might win in that group.

All in all, I'd say NesTea and MVP are better players, but Idra could easily win his group anyway. No, not really. For quite a while Nestea WAS invincible in ZvZ, because he learned the match-up much better much earlier than most Zergs. People know how to play the match-up much better now, and ZvZ has changed a lot since then so he's no longer "invincible" in the match-up; he'll still beat Idra most likely though. I don't know how you can really judge his ZvP. He hasn't really played it much since he played Inca other than his games against Huk (which he REALLY should have won...) and Naniwa. His MLG performance (and performance in foreign tournaments in general) were bad, but I don't think that matters much once it comes to GSL. On December 30 2011 23:22 Tofugrinder wrote: good group for idra. he shouldn't be in code s anyway, gl to him in code a next season That logic is really, really dumb. Not only has he beaten Code S players before, but losing in this group would mean basically shit-all. There are maybe 3-4 Code S players at best that could make it through this group.
