EG's player poaching has kind of gotten out of hand (complexity CS team, I was playing cs competetively and remembered that quite fondly). It would instill a large amount of confidence in the team if they were to find a relatively unknown player and bring him to the competitive level through hard work and practice, rather what taking what talent is already there and using/abusing it until it no longer turns a profit. Teams as large as this should take alot of effort to bringing new talent into the community and it's deeply saddening that EG has never ever taken this stance. "Not from around here" could mean not from the competitive scene, although extremely unlikely I have my hopes. new talent sucks, how many high level foreign players came from nothing? nearly all of them have been competitive for a long time in sc2 and most were competitive in sc1 or war3. look at the rosters of any big teams, theyre full of famous names or they arent winning. eg does more for lower level players than any other good team. we have a practice house and have sent all of our players to multiple offline events. and believe it or not our lineup does not solely consist of me huk puma and demuslim. For sure, but I think the point he was making is that it would be a big step in EG's development. We already know they have the best players in the foreign scene, and are extremely successful. Maybe it would be beneficial from a fan's perspective to see an unknown join the team, train hard and do well. It keeps the dream alive for casuals who want to make it big.

I think the popularity of SC2 is going to churn out some "new talent" that will be able to hang with the BW and WC3 alums. I'll admit that we haven't seen hardly anyone like that yet, certainly in the next year or two. I'm pretty sure that Flash didn't have background in any other RTS before he started stomping face. It's kinda hard to have RTS background when you are 13 years old

I would like that. mOOnGLaDe is sickeningly underrated. His performance at WCG is a prime example of that. Topped his group when no one expected him to make it out, beating Sen and Elfi I believe(?) on the way.

JYP (Puma practise partner; code S and Teamless) Moonglade (Teamless and not from around here) Moon (not from around here -> moon; SOTG/ITG said that he is unbeatable in practise games; but probably to big for EG)

They signed Puma and Huk who were also both really big. It's not like they don't have enough money for him plus like 50 other players.

P.S.: seems like it has been denied, but I think EG DRG would be awesome... I love EG ![]()

Why? Well first cause of "not from around here"-thing and second: Moon has alot of marketing value! He is VERY famous in esports and is performing brilliantly in foreign tournaments and furthermore is teamless. His recent wc3 performance in G-League wasnt the best, so this might was his last wc3 tournament. So many aspects pointing to Moon...I hope this is true...This guy has so much talent and I wanna see him play often so badly!

Moon is perhaps not as huge in SC2 than Huk or Puma for now, but i think he's still more expensive to buy because of his career.

Maybe they invested so much money in those two that they don't have enough left for Moon (just speculation, i have no insight in their finances like everyone else here)? And I say Moon is too big, because of what I heard from others. Apparently he had a massiv high salary.

I really don't know why people say Moon is too expensive, isn't he team less right now so that must mean that he has no salary(?) and joining a team would be generally good wouldn't it? Or is there something I'm not getting here.
