The format with the number of players have been noted. We initially planned it with 11 players, then cut it down a little. We do understand where the problem comes from though, and will take another deep look at it.

@Yoshi Kirishima
Yes it will definitely take a lot of work, perhaps more than we can imagine right now. This is why we started the thread on TeamLiquid, to look at which areas are interested, and see if this is something that can work ^^

Ah, I was not trying to belittle yours or TL's efforts, my point was that it can be done, with the help of the TL community

If a team house is located in a state (like EG in Arizona), does that mean that the whole team of pro-gamers can play for that state? lol

Anyways, it sounds like a totally awesome idea! I wonder how many high-level players are here in New Jersey. My younger brother is high masters, and he'd almost certainly be down to play if you need him

Louisiana would have a team of 2 or 3 GM's and tons of masters ~ I'm sure they would love to battle it out as well

Glad to see that this whole thing has developed so much. If you need a hand with anything, shoot me a PM.

Alberta with 4 GM players, a few top masters and a few who practice a bunch together but don't ladder. I think we can give BC a run for their money

Rutgers had 2 GM in season 4 and a bunch of high masters players. I'll let them know about this league and see if they are interested.

Fitting eighteen schedules is kinda tough :\

All being said, sounds cool I'm interested. I'll see what I can manage in my area soon.

hey nick I'm interested in helping organize the NY and surrounding areas (Purple region) if you'd like any help. I live in upstate NY and go to RIT. PM if you'd be interested in my help :D

Hey I also live in NY and am interested in potentially helping out/ playing. I'm a high school senior so I probably won't have much to do come february.

I'm no good at the game but I've managed teams so I can do the managing side of things.

I believe his event is more like a circuit of online tournaments based on different regions. He also mentions entry fees which i do not think is related to what i have proposed.

Ohio has a bunch of masters and a few grandmasters, think we shouldn't have a problem giving a strong showing.
say you were born into a jungle indian tribe where food was scarce...would you run around from teepee to teepee stealing meat scraps after a day lazying around doing nothing except warming urself by a fire that you didn't even make yourself? -rekrul

Something you might want to think about, use the method IPL uses. They cast the replays, which handles a lot of the scheduling problems. The players play it out and they send in the replays.
