Not only that, MVP won GSL WC, which had a much lower prize pool even when compared to the normal seasons.

Spoilers haven't mattered in any other "sport" either. Please stop crying over spilled milk. Have some self control.

But yeah, you shouldn't be coming to TL if you don't want to be spoiled.

It wasn't even featured or spotlighted, it's just down in the sidebar! if you don't want your game to be spoiled, avoid ANY PLACE where starcraft 2 is discussed until you've watched the games. i thought that was common sense? Common sense is not that common in the internet.

ESPN doesn't have a rule about spoiling games in thread titles. Read the rules before you post on forums: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=17883 TL.Net Ten Commandments 2. Besides, it's not like it says "MMA joins the $100,000 GSL Tour Prize Income Club by winning Blizzard Cup 2011". It's not a true spoiler unless you've been keeping close track of how much MMA has made in the GSL. Second gets a good chunk of prize money too.

And even if you don't agree with that, how does this thread title spoil anything? The only way it does is if you for some reason know exactly how much MMA has made, and that it wouldn't put him over with a second place finish. And anyway, if you actually click on the thread and read the OP, you deserve to be spoiled.

1. Why haven't you watched it yet 2. if we want E-Sports to grow we are going to need to realize that spoilers won't exist just like in other professional sports. Does ESPN or any other sports show/magazine/newspaper ever have spoilers? No. They tell you straight up because that is how it is.

When I'm not home and the Man U game is on I ask what's the score. When the Carl Froch and Andre Ward fight is over tonight and I'm not home I'm gonna ask who won and how did it go. I don't think it's the tournament factor, either... the world cup isn't like this. Just interesting to me. : ) Thats how i feel, if i know its live somewhere(or it already happened), i need to know the score. I've never been able to stay away from a LR thread if for example GSL is going on. What confuses me is that people complain about spoilers when they visit a starcraft 2 news website....... Maybe teamliquid.net needs to announce a policy of their stance on the whole spoiler thing.
