i really hope sC gets better, hes seriously one of the best terrans in korea and every time he seems to be getting back to his peak, his condition worsens somehow and it really fucks him over. so sad. sC fighting!

Skinny people with longer bodies tend to have higher predisposition for spontaneous pneumothoraces, asians and especially Koreans tend to fit this bill more. A korean friend of mine had 3 total lung collapses within a few months of each other once in high school. Being an unfortunate victim of a pneumothorax myself, I wish MVPsC the best in his recovery and hope that the doctors don't need to resort to surgical procedures to prevent further collapses. As he gets older, if they don't do surgery to fuse his lungs to the thoracic cavity, his disposition to lung collapses will diminish, though. sC fighting!

I'm so sorry... will pray for him. Being healthy is something people don't appreciate at all, and seeing stuff like this happen make me to do less smoking or thing unhealthy.

I have had this happen to me on both lungs (not at the same time) and they happened in my teens. It's apparently quite common in young, tall, skinny people. The first time it happened I didn't get surgery and it relapsed about a month later, I've now had surgery on both lungs and it's been relatively fine.

Can we do something for him as a community?
I know Moletrap asked what he could do in Korea for us, besides casting. Maybe we can all donate a little so he can buy the guy a nice get well soon present?
