LOL grady. I know this was a generalization, but I have supported him for over two years and believed in him when no one else did - and I mean NO ONE, so that "generalization" kinda hurts.
Avilo's fans are loyal and come to his stream not only because he's entertaining, but also because he is one of the few Terrans who actually commentates as he plays, letting the viewers know what he's doing and why. I've watched him coach and am extremely impressed with his teaching ability. He's innovative and obviously enjoys the game.
It aggravates me to see all the haters come out of the woodwork when something good happens to someone else.
Congrats to DOJI, who seems to be getting lost in all this and to Avilo, who doesn't deserve all the hate. It's so easy for others to judge.
You still didn't really answer my question. Seeing as you've been a fan of his for awhile, what are his results? I simply ask because I've never heard of him, and I try to keep somewhat grounded in the NA scene.
If you've never heard of him you're not paying that close attention to the NA scene. He's always been GM (usually top 100)
He doesn't have many major tournament results, he wins a bunch of local lans. He has some holes in his play and in my opinion can be a quite stubborn player but is quite capable of beating pretty much anyone on a good day.

yea when you're a 13 year old kid who plays for fun all it is is about owning your opponent, because you have no obligations to anyone.
Hes on a TEAM. Hes representing a brand. Avilo is the last guy I'd want representing me, and I strongly question his teams business model if this is the kind of guy they want on their team.

last time i looked at teh GM list i think you ranked ~150.
this makes me wonder why Incontrol gets "dissappointed" when losing to players at the top or the NA, EU, and Korean ladders at high profile MLG events.
and even his explanations about how "close he was" to "almost winning games against the world's best players at MLG seem hollow. Keeping in mind he is losing multiple games to a player without practise partners, not on a team and ~150th on the NA ladder. The NA ladder is generally considered the weakest of the EU, Korea, NA group.
With these kinds of results in mind wouldn't Incontrol's horrific win rate at the last 5 MLGs be completely expected?
