I want to practice hard for next season and let people know that MVP isn't the only Terran, and that I also exist.
It's funny how even this interview shows how strong MVP is, you'd think after winning a championship one wouldn't feel the need to remind the fans that they exist as a strong representative of the race. I suppose we'll just have to wait and see if Jjakji is able to continue performing at a high level into next season.

This was a shock to a lot of people, but a happy surprise. Jjakji definitely proved himself, congrats~
And thanks for the interview

Thank you for the translation!!! Really kind of you.
Jjiaki did get lucky by not having Coca in his group, but nevertheless he has really shown his ability to prepare. Calm anyone? :D

Nobody is really there, nobodys real

What an awesome way to burst onto the scene. I thought he was some scrub who lucked his way trough the first rounds. Then he beat the most high profile players of the last months.

This guy has shown me some of the sickest TvZ and TvP I have ever seen. He is such a smart player.

Q: A lot of people predicted Leenock to be superior. I'm curious what you thought. A: My girlfriend read message boards and got angry (laughs).
Aww how cute <3. Could having a significant other be the key to winning the GSL? Jjakji, MVP and MC all have girlfriends. Nestea is married. That's 9 of the 11 GSLs right there.
Q: You've won a Korean championship title. Now don't you feel ambitious about foreign tournaments? A: Up to now, I've wanted to go but haven't been able to. But now since I've won, I wonder whether invitations won't come soon. I definitely want to go to foreign tournaments often next year.
MLG look at this please ^^^^^

jjakji shall forever be known.

Nice guy! And what a sweet story about his dad

In a lot of team sports, the team that nobody believes in gets a psychological edge, especially over teams with huge expectations (Patriots-Giants Superbowl). I think that played a decent role for Jjakji this GSL.

Thank you very much for the translation!
I'm almost as big a NSHoSeo fan as I am a TSL fan, so it was easy to cheer for Jjakji going into the finals. I hope he gets to go to foreign events next year! He earned it!

This kid has amazing game sense in TvZ. The baneling mines kind of gotten a little predictable, but still. His timing in game 1 against the mutas was pretty well done.
|
He was really impressive during the finals and I'm looking forward to see if he can keep up, and improve, his play next season.
I also hope he gets invited to an International event soon.
