I'm sorry but that was truly necessary

I'm really glad destiny still has a chance to train in Korea despite QxG nixing their partnership with IM, hope he continues to improve!

oh stop people. 3 weeks will make him better but nobody is going to argue he will become the #1 foreign zerg in 3 weeks.. it's a great training period and a nice opportunity for a guy who hasn't been to korea to go to korea in the name of sc2.. just be happy for him.

Yeah exactly. Starcraft training or not it just seems like an interesting place to travel to.

wow this is gonna be great for his skill level - hopefully his diversity of play will go up ^^

i used to really like destiny, but then he kinda sold out for the money. hopefully his intentions with leaving his (family? he has a kid right?) are good.

Wow, destiny training with fruitdealer, curious, and july! Even if it is only 3 weeks, I think he will become a much better player considering the caliber of players he will be practicing with.

Hell yes! I can't wait to see Destiny tear it up here once he gets back! Training with people like July will definitely get him to improve. Good luck Destiny!

Sorry but 3 weeks is more of a publicity move than anything else.

Congratulations and good luck Steven! Three weeks may not be enough time to see a significant improvement in his gameplay, but it certainly gets his foot in the door for an invitation back should he play his cards right. Let's be honest, who wouldn't take this opportunity given the chance?

I think StarTale has something to be gained from the situation, as well. At the very least, he will inject a different dimension of personality into the team's atmosphere. Also, consider that many tournaments these days are pitting westerners against Koreans, perhaps he can give them some insight into the playstyle and "strange" build orders used by the rest of the world. I really think it's a win-win situation. (flame on)

it's nice that he goes to Korea, but 3 weeks are not nearly enough to polish up your play from bottom up.
Not sure whether it's worth the cost...

Here's hoping that he seriously trains and does not dick around with Randomking.

that would actually be quite awesome!

It will definitely be worth the cost. First off Quantic benefits from having destiny in a prohouse, and becomes way more "known". Secondly destiny benefits because he plans on streaming his games from there, and will probably make more just from that than it costed him to fly out there.

He already plays on the korean ladder from NA, so I dunno why you posted such nonsense other than to troll the thread...

I rarely post, but when I do...

To all the people saying "3 weeks is not enough", look at the date. Do you think he'll stay over there for his kid's 1st christmas/new year? Do you think he won't go back for an extended period in 2012 given the opportunity? So many short-sighted comments here, sorry just had to have a mini-rant!

Gl to stephen, not watched his stream for months but I remember he sounds like Steve Buscemi, this is enough for me to like him! >D

I heard he had a wife and child? But I will be watching to see how he improves as a player from the Korean experience.

He said on Fuck slasher that this is just a trial run, if he likes it, he will stay longer.
