Honestly I can't say I'm surprised. I didn't really expect IM (the hottest team in the world for a while now) to stay partnered with a team unless there was a lot of money involved. I mean as it is, IM already has the 2 best players in the world, plus losira and other very strong players, and they already have pretty good sponsors as far as I know, so there really isn't that much they need. And Quantic being a fairly new team, it's understandable that they wouldn't have the heaps of money to throw at IM.

QG and IM seemed like an incredibly strange partnership from the get-go. Whereas with EG and SlayerS, it feels like this East meets West megazord forming, QIM seemed to be an incongruent puzzle that, if completed, only SaSe would truly benefit from.

I think this is a good choice. IM seemed to be doing just fine with sending their players to foreign events before the partnership. I'm assuming they're in a viable if not favorable financial position now too considering this dissolution.

quantic didn't seem like a team that had potential to be champions or even have motivation to, atleast compared to IM
so i didn't really see it as a good fit from the beginning

maybe after those 2 events IM decided they don't like the international travel, nestea was visibly upset for a few reasons and perhaps they just don't like the travel to a weekend tournament in unfavorable conditions compared to their gsl games.

Well this is unfortunate, I hope that QxG finds another korean team to partner with, and I hope we continue to see NesTea and MVP in foreign tournaments, god bless all and I wonder what will happen with destiny and sase now... hopefully everything works out. o.o
